Far away in a lonely cold, Apartment a man lay tossing and turning. Everytime he tried to go to sleep, a pretty blond, face haunted his dreams. He knew he still loved her, wanted her, wanted to go to her now. Had she done what she was supposed to do yet? Was it safe for him to go back to him? Would she take him back if he did go to her?
The man groaned into his pillow. That man who claimed to be some kind of guardian Angel of hers had told him to leave her, he should have said hell no, that he loved her, couldn't even dream of hurting her that way. He had wanted to marry her, that day they had stolen the watches, the ring was still buried in a small tiny black box in his coat pocket a cruel reminder of what he could have had, if he had not left her. If he had only staid with her, had found another way that she could complete her task other then his leaving her.
He finally stood up determined, he was going to find her, he was going to track her down some how, and beg her for her forgiveness, tell her he had been stupid to let her go, that he wanted her, that he wanted to marry her. Wanted her to be his wife, that he couldn't stop thinking of her.
He had thought there was no reason why it should be to hard to find her, there had to be something that would point to her. He knew her name right? So how hard could it be to figure out where she went after he had left her? He would go to that town that the man had spoken of, Storybrooke Maine he had called it. Maybe she was there still, maybe he could still make things right again.
He got into the tiny silver Prius he had bought only three months ago, and headed torwards Maine, his heart and his mind saying the same thing. "Hang on Emma I am coming back to you."
He made sure the ring was still in his jacket pocket and drove fast. As fast as the speed limit would allow him to without being arrested. He did not feel like being stopped now, he could only hope she hadn't met or fallen in love with another man yet.
What if Emma had discovered another family, what if he told her about the strange man and what he had told him, that he had told him to leave her, but that he hadn't wanted to, he had wanted very much to go to her, hold her, hug her, make love to her, had wanted her to be his wife that very night, had planned to ask her to be his.
He wanted a family with her. Wanted to be with her forever. Well now he was going to try his damn hardest to do this now.
If she refused him then he would stick around anyway and try to change her mind, wear her down until she agreed to give him one more chance.
He was a man on a mission and nothing, not a thing was he going to let stand in his way. He was not going to wait for some stupid post card, what if it had been some ploy to take his girl from him? What if he was just trying to get him out of the way so that he could have her?
Neal groaned. "Hold on my sweet Swan, i'm coming, i'm coming, please be there for me, please be open minded, please be willing to take me back." tears were streaming down his face as he worried about this, he wanted her but was afraid of how she would respond to him.
