Danny was starting argument No. 4 which was basically a repeat of arguments 1 through 3 of why Steve McGarrett should not be allowed to drive a car, shoot a gun, question any suspects or do anything that could turn into a trip to hospital – they were already on a first name basis with most of the staff in the emergency department.
Steve let Danny's rant wash over him as he was driving. Danny was always the one to start these carguments as Steve had called them.
Maybe one day Steve would agree with whatever Danny was saying just to see what Danny's reaction would be.
Steve could probably sell tickets for it. Danny's reactions were always ticket worthy material.
