Grey tossed and turned in his bed as he contemplated his options for the situation.
Option 1: Freeze until his wife eventually moved enough for him to grab the shared blanket currently wrapped around her and keep his honor of being an ice wizard.
Option 2: Slowly and stealthily unwrap his wife just enough for him to regain a partial part of the blanket and stop the "frostbite", for lack of a better word, from getting his toes.
Option 3: Wake up his emotional, pregnant wife and take back the blanket that was rightfully theirs, but give her a kiss so she'll forget about it in the morning.
Grey continued this argument with himself as Juvia inched further and further away, taking the blanket with her. It had gotten to the point where Juvia was curled up into a large, tight aebleskiver- like ball with a dollop of white, fluffy blankets all around her person, while Grey was left shivering in nothing but his breeches. They were ironically the only things he hadn't automatically discarded as soon as they entered their house.
The cold continued seeping through his toes and inching up his legs, slowly turning him into one, complete, shivering mess of a human popsicle, not that he was going to admit it though!
'Damn!', Grey thought, 'That baby better be pretty warm 'cause I ain't got a single scrap!' This routine of cursing his unborn child and shivering continued for what felt like another hour until Grey finally snapped.
Grey hurled himself up and was about to grab back the blanket when his wife stirred and began talking to him.
"Grey," Juvia hummed in her sleep, "I made a scarf for you. Here." As if in real life, Juvia stretched out her arms in Grey's direction, instantly igniting a spark of insanity in Grey's mind.
"Hmm." Grey said in response. Perhaps this was the opening he needed.
With great stealth and purpose, Grey inched into his wife's outstretched embrace and nuzzled his head in the crook of her neck. His wife then proceed to enclose him in a hug of warmth, comfort, and a certain feeling Grey always felt deep in the pit of his stomach whenever Juvia was with him.
"Grey," Juvia hummed again.
"What is it love?" Grey replied in a drowsy tone.
"If you were cold, you could have just asked for another blanket."
