I once read the bible in church and thought of this poem. Saying, "I don't want to die" is saying you don't want to see God, right? This non-rhyming poem shows what people might think what they think when they don't want to die just yet, or at least what I think. I'm Catholic, by the way, so it might be a bit different than what the Christians believe. Enjoy…
When one says they don't want to die
That doesn't mean they don't want to see God
Don't misunderstand me, God
You're amazing and wonderful
You're a true miracle
You've came out of nowhere to create the world
You made Jesus so we can be better people
You've made all of the animals
Every single one
It would be amazing to be in Heaven with you
However, there's one problem…
My family and friends are here
They are valuable to me
They are always in my hearts, and I can't let them go right now
Still, no matter if there is a forever living potion
Or a magical cure to every disease and death
I wouldn't take it
I want my body to tell me when the time is right
Living forever would be a dream come true to some
But those people don't think about that they won't go to heaven
Heaven is a wonderful place for the after life
If one never dies, one never sees God
I want to see God, but I don't want to leave the people I love right now
Death is a hard choice to make
I don't want to die by gun or car accident
I want to die when it's the right time
I wish I could see you and Jesus, God
But I will have to leave my friends and family
So, when one says they don't want to die
They might mean they don't want to die right now
Ok, so some of you may know me from the Mario fan fiction and wonder, "What?! That's Madz?!". I know I seem wise right now, but it's my opinion. Mario has a retry, but we only have one life. It's hard to know when we need to see God. When we have cancer or we're in a life or death situation, you don't know if you should give up or survive. All you go for is the latter usually. I'm not saying you have to die now, I'm just saying living forever is a bad choice because you never see God.
If this doesn't count as Bible fan fiction, then I'm sorry. This is just an important thing that came to mind.
