Do I even have the right to be with you and keep to sully your purity with the darkness and death that's always been my companion in all these years? Although you are so filled with light and life?
One should think, no. There's no way I could contradict this "no". I don't want to sully you in any way.
And yet... I have done so many things to you. I have made your life a living hell without showing consideration for you.
And nevertheless you're holding on to me, you still want me to be with you... Your light is so very captivating, is drawing me in its spell that seems oh so unbreakable that I can't muster enough strength anymore to free myself from it... from you. It's much too late already, and I know it. I can't get away from you.
