Author's notes: I wrote this poem when I was listening to Mariah Carey's song Hero. I love that song. It's so gentle. I was listening to that song and I really feel weird. I really do I don't know why but it's like these days I am sort of banned from the Internet. Cuz I was on WAY TOO much. Okay so I was on like 24/7. But, still……….

Hero…..that word
What does it mean?
Heroic rescues?
Or is it an inner kinda thing?
I don't know what hero means
But, I know there is a hero around me
He doesn't need super powers
Or laser eyes
But, he's there for me
He's there to protect me
To understand me
And let us be
Better friends
I don't care what you say
But, I know a hero
That's not in a t.v. show
Or in a comic book
I know a hero
Right infront of me
He loves me
I love him
He is not perfect
But, that doesn't matter
Still I love him
No matter what
A hero is right here
With me…….
To protect me…….
