Challenge prompt: #35-Remain

After he's rescued from, Igarashi spends weeks in the hospital being treated for malnutrition and a bunch of relatively minor problems. He is probably fine, but the doctors refuse to let him check out before running him through weeks of scans and medication.
His doctor doesn't smile once in Igarashi's entire stay at the hospital. Igarashi tries to imagine Otonashi in a white doctor's coat, grim and unsmiling; somehow all Igarashi could only picture shaky hands marking a driver's license. Igarashi spends spends his time comparing his doctors to Otonashi; they always came up short, subpar. He misses Otonashi's funeral.
A/N: 100 words exactly, woot! I always wondered how Igarashi would deal with the fact that Otonashi (who arguably saved everyone) died right next to him.
