Summary: Serena Vander-Woodson needed to get over Dan. All it took was one dare from none other than Chuck Bass.
Serena Vander-Woodson was still in a somber mood around the Bass pent house. Even though Chuck didn't live there anymore; it still annoyed him to no end. Some days he would invite her to have a drink or hit a party but all she would do was sit in her bed and study. Blair was complaining again and Chuck didn't like it. She thought he should delegate Serena's role just because he was her boyfriend. He was more than glad that they were over.
"Chuck you are never around. Are you screwing someone else?" Blair's haughty voice said.
"No I just think it should end" he said.
"Are we over?" she asked worriedly.
"Yes".
He had walked away and Serena hadn't chastised him at all. She simply looked down. He was tired of her weeping over Humphrey. He shouldn't care but then he remembered the Serena he lost his virginity too. The one that used to be his best friend and the one who made his heart beat faster than anyone else. He missed her but he also cared for this Serena as much maybe even more. He knew he loved her back then and still did. He was tired; so he walked into the room and sat in her bed. He got her looking up and smiled gently.
"Serena I have dare" he said with some kindness.
"What grade are we in Chuck 7th?" She said with a hint of a smile.
"No an adult dare, trust me; just say yes" He said gently.
Then Serena Vander-Woodson laughed hard and real before replying "fine".
"I dare you to move. I dare you to kiss some guy who means more to you than Humphrey. I dare you to get over him" Chuck said his voice full of truth.
Than Serena Vander-Woodson reached her lips and kissed him real gently. He deepened the kiss and held her. He wasn't going to let her go; she had smiled at him once they're lips left. No words were said but a meaning was understood. Chuck kissed her possessively holding her tight. Serena Vanderwoodson was his if only for a moment but Chuck was keeping her until she didn't want to be with him.
"I know Chuck. Any more dares?"
"Yes I dare you to respond" he said pushing her into the oblivion of the mattress.
He had Serena Vanderwoodson back and he wasn't letting her out of his sight. She was over Humphrey and he was over Blair and any other girl. He stroked her tattoo and smiled. She still kept it he thought as he touched the CB on her hipbones…
