It was a known fact that Kaiba was a genius. After all, he started running a company at the age of 12 and had built it into a multi billion dollar corporation. He did this while simultaneously raising his little brother and attending high school. There were few things in the world that he couldn't make sense of.
However, there was one subject that perplexed Kaiba: didn't understand. Why was everyone obsessed with being in an intimate relationship with another person? It didn't seem like a very steady relationship seeing as how people fall in and out of love so easily. He himself had never felt a desire to meet someone and start dating. He was too busy with his work and even if he wasn't, he preferred having as few interactions with people as possible. Besides, he'd seen how much people changed when they fell in loving. Watching Wheeler drool over that harpy loving duelist Mai was just embarrassing and it made Kaiba nauseous.
Still, there were always a bunch of crazy fan girls who would follow him and try to make conversation. Even glaring at them wouldn't make them go away. He had to settle with getting restraining orders for all them before they would leave him alone.
Some people told him " You just haven't found the right person yet" . But Kaiba knew that he would never experience any attraction to anyone regardless of their looks, brain, or personality. The only type of relationship he could stand was brotherhood. Mokuba was someone he could always rely on and loved him with every fiber of his being. For Kaiba ,that was all he needed.
