Here's another attempt in writing a Haylijah story..This was inspired by Grupo Mojado's song 'Piensa en mi'.-JasZ
Will she think of him when she lays in bed with him? Remembering the night they shared? Think of the man that put her first above all the things that went wrong? Protect the child that isn't his? Will she cry for him when he does come home? Get worried if he comes home wounded?
Remember the feelings that she pushed away? Allow him near at her darkest and weakest moment like she let him? Allow him to hold her when times are rough? Tell her she's brave and strong for all the things she's done and been thou. Tell her that she's beautiful when she's sleep deprived when Hope has kept her up all night? Does he even know she loves blueberry granola?
He kept his true emotions wrapped up. Frightened that he would get ejected once again! That love, warmth was within his reach and he lost it… His pride is one at fault. One thing is for sure the boy will not love her like he does.
He silently wished she wouldn't go on and marry him. She took his heart and left him empty handed. Now she married; far from his reach… He'll back off to so she can have a better life… all he wishes is that he'll be a passing thought when she remembers their past. When she regrets not hearing his declaration of love. She'll think of him and she'll always have to live with the fact that it was she that walked away.
