Prompt: Animal by Maroon Five
It was the wolf. He could blame it on the animal inside him. The one that told him to follow, chase, hunt.
Mate.
The wolf purred at the sight of him. It liked the smell, the scent. The leather, the musk, the liquorice. It was all for him. This man was his.
Remus watched in silence as the man approached another, their bodies moving on the dance floor. He seemed to pick the same men time after time, and Remus would know.
He watched enough.
He watched his arms wrap around the man, lips touching, fingers exploring as they headed outside, Remus slipping out behind them.
His eyes watched them in the dark alley. He was ready, it was his turn.
Sirius better make the most of this, it was the last time he'd have someone else. Tomorrow, he'd belong to Remus.
...oOo...
Sirius walked into the club, James Potter and Peter Pettigrew either side of him. Not that they'd be there for long. James would be all over Evans when she arrived... Again.
Peter would find a drunken hussy who had lost the sense of sight.
And him... he'd find someone who actually gave a shit. Even if it was for one night. That's how long they wanted him. He hadn't wanted anyone really, not since Hogwarts.
He moved to the dance-floor, finding a rhythm he liked his eyes moving across the floor before he closed his eyes.
They snapped open again. A head of dark-blonde hair caught his attention... it was almost like... no. No. He wasn't here. He disappeared after Hogwarts.
Four years.
Sirius was done imagining him now, seeing him everywhere.
His eyes moved across the floor, searching as he moved, but there were no familiar faces.
Time to find someone to fill the hole that he left when he disappeared. When Sirius accused him of being a spy.
He was most likely dead.
...oOo...
Remus moved across the dance-floor, his eyes on his target. He was waiting for the perfect moment, hidden in all the other bodies, ducking then grey eyes caught him.
No, his prey couldn't see him. His prey wasn't allowed to find him. He would take him when he wasn't suspecting.
He could smell him over everyone is the club, Sirius Black's scent was easy to identify him.
He was finally going to give the wolf what it begged for since the first ride on the train when that scent hit him.
Sirius Black.
...oOo...
A growl pulled him away from the song. Away from the man who was pressed against him. Sirius moved away. The sound... it called him. It demanded his attention. It begged him to follow it.
He left the club alone. The alley around back held a lone figure.
His eyes met amber, before he was thrown against the wall, hard enough to leave bruises. Before he could even open his mouth, Sirius felt lips against his.
He had no time to ask the important questions. 'Where have you been?' 'Why did you leave?'
The only thing that mattered was he was back!
As hands desperately pulled at his trousers - his senses came back to him. "Let's take this back to mine?" he whispered, the amber eyes softening at his words as Sirius' arms wrapped around him. He was determined that Remus was never going to leave again.
...oOo...
"Mine," Remus growled as they Apparated into Sirius' bedroom. His tongue ran across Sirius' neck and Sirius tilted his head, offering it to Remus.
Remus wouldn't ever leave him again. Mates were for life and he'd give anything for Remus to stay with him. Anything to be with Remus.
