Title: Like Fire

Rating: PG13 for violence and language

Summary: This is the story of Didi, a Hufflepuff girl who just wants to be like everyone else.

A/N: This is a drabble series, so please don't review me telling me to make my chapters longer. Writing a chapter exactly 100 words long is a bit of an art to me, however if I get the chance I will write this as a full-length novel-type thing, though I doubt it. It's about Dolores Umbridge, okay? So don't kill me or flame me about writing about her.

Chapter One: Different

All Didi wanted was to fit in.

"You're full of fire, Didi," her roommates laughed, but she saw the sideway glances, the hushed whispers-the obnoxious giggles.

"You should be in Gryffindor!" they told her, smirking. "You're no Hufflepuff."

She didn't let them know how much it hurt when they said that. She wasn't a Gryffindor. Being full of fire didn't mean she was brave. So she stuck close to her Hufflepuff comrades, watching, waiting. Counting the days until she could finally prove herself as a Hufflepuff. But was she a Hufflepuff, or was the Sorting Hat mistaken?

Didi didn't know.
