To kill Rachel Alucard was another way to end Ragna's life. That was what she told to do. Activate her Immortal Breaker as Izayoi, defeat her fair and square in a battle, and take out her life.
The redhead closed her eyes. Fate was really cruel. Clutching the hilt of the sword at her hand, she wished it could had been different. But this was not a fairy tale where everything will end happily ever after. This was reality: only the strong ones survives. There was no such thing as persuasion. She knew it. The thoughts of blindly obeying the Imperator, and believing that it was "true justice" made her feel sick to the stomach. Believer of justice, yet followed the false one? How vile of her? She almost could never forgive herself about that.
To repent of her sins, she had to eradicate the true evil, which was Ragna. He had to be executed. It was a justified act. But then again, how would the people that were close to him react? Tsubaki was aware that Noel was fond of him in some ways. Accompanying him even though she was a member of the NOL, and he was a SS-Criminal triggered a pet-peeve of hers. And yet she had to know what was the reason why Noel cared for Ragna.
Another one on the list was Jin. Insane towards his brother, fueled with desires to kill him. She honestly wished that the Jin she knew will return one day, and his insanity will cease when Ragna was gone. Although it was still hard to imagine him without constantly muttering out Ragna's name or his desire to see him again. Only if she could do something to help him. Or better yet, snap his insanity so he could also prevent the fate of his brother.
And lastly, Rachel Alucard herself. She knew that someone who was high and mighty as her would not give up her life so easily to someone like him, let alone die from her own hands. The woman was extremely cryptic that she could not grasp what she was thinking. And the fact that she was definitely not in the mood to talk to anyone, including her, but she insisted on talking about Ragna, it was odd. She managed to make her spill the beans on her decisions. There must be more to her than meets the eye. Tsubaki hoped that she would know more about her before she potentially drive her sword to her gut.
With those thoughts in mind, it was making her feel more shaky on her mindset. If she did what she had to do, what would be their reactions be? Would they thank her for placing his pain on rest permanently? Or would they hate her for being a selfish woman who thinks nothing but justice? It was certainly tough to decide, knowing the negatives of the outcome of her decision. One must be strong to decide ones fate.
Tsubaki opened her eyes to survey her surroundings. This was... a grassy field. Ah, yes, she remembered. This was where the three of them hang out back in the Academy. Her best friends Noel and Makoto. A small tear formed on the corner of her eye. Why did everything have to be so rough? She let out a sigh. Regaining her composure, she marched forward. Her decision to seek out Ragna was still strong. She must do this for everyone's sake. To end the pain. To bring justice to all.
A/N: Not really a fan of Tsubaki. In fact, I hate her. But it was an honest headcannon of mine I need to get out too. Wanted to shed her some light to justify her character.
