*sigh* "I remember a conversation I had with a childhood friend. Eris was her name, and she was a draconequus daughter of discord if you could believe it. she asked me one of the most important questions that I still hold onto." "And what was that?" "Why do you fight?"

When we were children you asked me, "Why do you fight?"

"I fight with rage for her loss,

I fight with sadness for her death,

I fight with joy for our memories,

I fight with vengeance for her death,

I fight with wrath so that others will not feel that pain."

You asked "If there was no other option would you use magics that are frowned upon?"

"When all other magics fail to work I shall be the one,

I shall be the one, who causes nature to wilt and wither,

I shall be the one, who causes the very earth to tremble in pain,

I shall be the one, who causes the heavens to cry out in sorrow,

I shall be the one, who will cause the armor to rust,

I shall be the one, who will cause the blood to rise,

I shall be the one, who calls to the spirits for aid,

I shall be the one, who will call the beaten and broken corpses of the fallen to rise,

I shall be the one, who will lead the charge against those who seek only destruction and death,

I shall be the one, who fights in the name of the innocent; even should they call me a monster,

I shall fight until my body is broken,

Until my bones are dust,

Until my very soul has been ripped apart by the very magics I use,

Until my last breath I shall fight."
