Niles could see when Dahpne came in that she was in a bad mood. She slammed the door and stormed in.

"Rough day," Niles asked.

"I'LL TELL YOU WHAT PISSES ME! PEOPLE O NEVA LISTEN! OR PEOPLE O LISTEN WITH ALF AN EAR."

"Half an ear," Niles asked, "That's a new one."

"Well thank GOD you don't do that," Dahpne said, "When people talk you listen to them. You don't automatically assume that they're wrong or stupid or ave something wrong with them just because they're a little different. That's one of the reasons I love you."

"Oh," Niles said, "Is that a fact?"

"Yes it is a fact," Dahpne said, "and you know what else I love about you?"

"I'd love to know," Niles said.

"I love the way you're always honest with me. You always consider my feelings. That means so much to me Niles. You know ow I feel about things and you are so considerate of that."

Niles smiled. It wasn't so simple as that but in many regards she was right.

"Yes," he said, "Yes I am and do you know why?"

"Why is that."

"Because I love you," he said.

"Well why do you love me," Dahpne asked.

"So many reasons," Niles said.

"Can you tell me one," Dahpne asked.

"I love you because you are so good. I love you because you are loving. You're caring. You taught me to love."

"I taught you to love? Niles you were married twice before me."

"I was forced into marrying Maris and Mel was just a poor replacement for you. I thought I had lost my chance with you. I thought I had no chance with you. I mean you were a GODESS in my eyes from the moment I met you."
