Ow... Why the heck is my back in serious pain?

A bird's chirp awoken me to consciousness and that was when I realized this excruciating pain that shot up my back and settled upon my legs. I wouldn't recommend waking up to this sort of sensation. Followed by other bird's with their irritating chirps, a ray of light beamed upon my sensitive eyes and instinctively, I placed my hand over my eyes to shield away the light. Light... Could it be that I'm outside?

Whoa.

I immediately shot straight up from the dirty ground and gasped at my surrounding... which was filled with dense forest evergreen trees and distorted rocks that laid along the path of which I sat. Huh, this is really weird. How the heck did I get here? And where the heck am I?

The last thing I remember... that's right, I don't remember anything. Great. Great. Just great.

At least I wasn't naked, although a simple white dress and no shoes might suffice as naked in some cultures, at least it covered me.

It was daylight, probably say noon or so, and the sun shown brightly above me, welcomed by the clear blue skies with it's marshmallow like fluffy clouds. I must've fallen or something, because my back ached with an indescribable pain.

Groaning, I stretched my arms out as if I had just woken up from a much needed sleep, and then I surveillance the world around me. Hmm, it's quite pretty... pretty quiet. Finding that it was rather odd that I don't remember anything, I touched my forehead and the moment I did so, a voice echoed inside my mind.

Haine.

Was that my name? Haine? Not a name I would pick out...

So why can't I remember anything? Shaking my head, I felt the ground below me, and was welcomed by the sensation of... feathers.

Suddenly, a twig snapped behind me in the bushes. I then panicked and dashed towards the nearest bush, hiding myself through the thick leaves as I peeked out into the path where I once laid. As I looked out, I saw what I had left behind... white feathers and dispersed around the spot.

Then, a pair of shoes came into view and my small obstruct peeking hole prevented me from seeing the whole figure, but it looked like a male.

"What the..." His hoarse voice whispered. This wasn't a good time for me to be curious...

The man bent down and picked up one of the feathers, which quickly disintegrated like dust upon the fingertips of his pale skin. I even gasped at the odd reaction.

"Hey Shizumasa!" The male hollered, "Come look at this!"

I squealed. Great, he's calling more people over.

"What is it, Takanari?" A different male's voice, gentler than the first, cooed towards his friend, "Feathers?"

Now there were two pairs of legs in view.

"Yeah but I don't believe it's from a bird of some sort..."

"Well where else can feathers come from?" The man, Shizumasa took his turn in picking up one of the feathers, and like the first man, the feather crumbled before his hand.

Both of the men stood there frozed.

I need to escape...fast.
