Author's Note: This story takes place after Frankie Ray's story TORI IN TROUBLE. It starts the next day in the hallway of the school. This story is from Beck's point of view. By the way I'm not Dan and DANIT I don't own Victorious
I saw Tori in the hallway and waved.
"Hey Tori," I said
"Hi. I got to go. See you later"
"You didn't seem like you were in a hurry," I told her.
"Look. I just have to go. That's all. I um… I'll see you later"
I couldn't believe it. It seemed like Tori was afraid of me. I did what I had done for her own good. I didn't understand why she was afraid of me. The bell rang and I hurried off to my next class. But I couldn't focus.
Jade nudged me.
"You okay babe," she asked
"Um… I… I mean… yeah I'm fine"
"And I'm Elizabeth Taylor," Jade said sarcastically.
I sighed and told her the whole story. She chuckled.
"Good for you. Someone had to put Vega in her place."
"Jade it's not funny. My friend is afraid of me"
"I know but it's great that you hurt Vega," Jade laughed.
"I did it for her own good," Beck said.
"Yeah perfect timing too. A+ for you Beck," Cat said sarcastically.
"CAT WERE YOU LISTENING TO THE CONVERSATION I WAS HAVING WITH JADE," I asked SO wanted to get mad at her.
"I am in the seat behind you," Cat said, "I do have ears and they do work you know"
"I'm still-"
Jade gave me a look that said don't even think about it.
"A year ago yesterday," Cat said, "Tori's little brother died"
I thought my heart was going to stop. That was why Tori was acting weird yesterday and I didn't give her a chance. I had to go find her. I had to fix this. I had to make it right.
"Um… I have to go," I said and rushed off to find Tori.
I found her in the Blacktop Theater.
"Tori," I said, "I'm really sorry. I wasn't being a good friend to you"
"Thanks," she said, "I guess I accept your apology"
She hurried off. I was glad that she forgave me but I knew one thing. Nothing would ever be the same again between Tori and I.
