Sight
That's when it came to me, clear as day. It was like a blooming inside of me, an awakening of something long dormant. I felt lighter, and as if I still had a heartbeat. This was more human than I'd ever felt, and it was all because of that one glimpse.
He stood there in the trees, his hands pushed into his long, dark blue, velvet trench coat and his blonde hair soaked with rain. It hung in messy golden twists around his face. His face. It was beautiful, full, pale lips were slightly parted and though I couldn't see them I knew fangs lay underneath, ready to kill. His nose was small and round, but not too much; and his skin was smooth, smoother than anything I'd ever seen. His golden eyes were lost and wide, waiting, waiting for me. All vampires were beautiful but he was… more. The beauty seemed to shine out from within him, like it was a natural part of him. I knew it right then and there that he was the one. I didn't know who he was but I had to find him. He didn't know it but I loved him, and he'd love me to.
"Jasper, Jasper Whitlock, I'm coming to find you." I whispered into the night, and then I took off.
