Bella's 20th (1st) Birthday
It's September 12 and Bella, Renesme, Alice, Jasper, Emmet, and Rose go camping. While Edward, Carlisle, Esme, and Jacob stay behind to plan Bella's surprise 'party'. Bella had already said no parties but everyone decided that she needed one for her first year as a vampire. So, when she came home from camping, walked into the Cullen's large, main home and there were presents everywhere, she was clueless. There were presents for everyone, not just her to make it less like a party, for Bella's sake, as suggested by Bella. Kudos to Edward for keeping the secret, there's no telling how hard that had to have been. Alice and Jasper both received things similar to those that Alice gave to Edward and Bella for their honeymoon. Emmet got 30 baseball bats. Mike's face was hilarious as he checked Edward out that day. Rose got a sports car, typical Cullen. Renesme received a beautifully written card that explained that her present was in the cottage. Bella got motorcycle gloves, and a motorcycle, plus what Edward was planning. Jacob patiently waited for Bella to get done opening her presents before telling her to leave Renesme with him, and to go meet Edward at the airport. When Bella got to the airport, Edward asked Bella to close her eyes as to not ruin the surprise. She did as she was asked and kept them shut until Edward said it was ok to look. She opened her eyes when they arrived in Rio. As soon as they had arrived Bella knew exactly where Edward was planning on taking her.
"Edward. I loved the party." Bella smiled as they reached Isle Esme.
While they were away on Isle Esme everyone went out and got Bella her presents from them. Alice and Jasper got her designer clothes, typical Alice. Emmet and Rose gave her the same thing Alice gave them for their honeymoon. Carlisle and Esme gave them the Island next to Isle Esme. Renesme and Jake composed Bella and Edward a song using the piano that she had received. They all patiently waited for Bella and Edward to return so they could give her their gifts. Bella loved all of them. But even more so she loved the people that gave them to her.
