Zyra opened her eyes to the wonders of the human world. So fragile, she thought as her vines snaked across her arms in pleasure. The stones under her feet felt so cold; so pleasurable. As she marched slowly up the stairs, she felt the unease of her fellow vines and overgrowth whisper for her return. She looked at the sign on the door that said "The truest opponent lies within". Snorting in repulsion, she caressed the vines that tried to follow.

"I will return my beauties," She whispered in a wild voice as her new body carried her up the steps into the inky darkness.

A blinding light caused Zyra to stumble backwards. In rage she called vines out of the Earth, penetrating the sanctuary. Violet eyes glowed in arcane power, as a tall tree lumbered forward.

Maokai stared at her, throbbing with the same power she herself had adorned. "You embrace your power for your own needs. Why is it you wish to join the League?"

Zyra lowered her vines and eyed him dangerously. "I know you are really a summoner. Your kind have killed and uprooted my kind for centuries. I am taking back what was ours by birthright."

The treant glowered at her and nodded. With another flash of light, Zyra and the Summoner were transported back to the jungle where Zyra once lived. "The overgrowth died simply due to the fact of the lack of food." Zyra watched fondly as her plant form enveloped the girl, wrapping her in the thorny vines and taking her life. "Now I will ask again Zyra. Why is it you wish to join the League?"

Anger built in Zyra, the power pulsing through her veins. She called forth the vines out of the ground and enveloped the summoner in them, shivering with desires from the groans of pain he let out. She stepped forward and stroked a vine thoughtfully. "It is true I am angered my kind is dead. You pitiful humans have embraced too much of your world, taking it for granted. It is now my turn, so listen close." She moved into the summoners face and grinned. "I wish to join the League to learn the use of my power, and understand the thought of you disgusting creatures. Then I will begin to claim this world for my kind once more." Her anger dying down, she released the summoner, enjoying hearing him gasp for air.

Standing up the summoner looked at her in fear, but in awe and understanding. "How does it feel, exposing your mind?"

Zyra, having turned her back, hissed in anger, "Do not expect me to like it, summoner."

As she walked down the returning dark tunnel, she heard and embraced the welcomes to the League.
