The Birthday of The Youngest Queen of Narnia( Aka: Lucy Helen Pevensie)
a/n: i only own Grandma Pevnsie and Aunt Pevensie and the name of mr. pevensie! allthough, i'd accept Peter as a Christmas gift. Or at least the adorable William Moseley version (swoons)
"Peter Pevensie, get down here, now" shouted George Pevensie to his oldest child over the racket of his only daughter, Susan, screaming at Peter.
Peter ran downstairs and into the kitchen, as Susan threw a book at him.
"Who ever said that books cant hurt anyone is comepletely wrong" he said, rubbing head. Geirge frowned at him,
"Peter, why is Susan crying and throwing things"
"I may have broke her birthday doll- on accident. she left it on the floor and i didnt see it, and now she's blaming me. How was I supposed to know it was under my foot." Peter explained "Dad, I'll use my allowance to by her a new one. okay. but, my foot is hurting now!"
George laughed at his comical son as his current youngest, three year old Edmund, skipped in. "Peer!!" he exclaimed, hoping from the door and straight into Peter's stomache.
"Thanks Ed" groaned Peter, holding his stomache.
"Youre Welcome. Mummy's a baby!"shouted Edmund. Peter groaned as Edmund stood on his foot.
George smiled and lifted his young son onto his lap. Peter sighed in relief.
"Yes Ed, your going to be a big brother soon"
"Now!"
Peter stared at his father. "Dad, you dont think?"
"No, she still has 3 months"
"Wasn't Edmund the early?"
"and you and Susan. PETER GO CHECK ON YOUR MOTHER!" Shouted George as relization hit him.
But before Peter had even blinked Susan ran in. her face covered in tears, but smiling "Telegram from Helen Pevensie to a George Pevensie." she shouted, as Edmund nodded happily.
"really what is it"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! IM HAVING A BABY" Screached Susan, at the top of her lungs.
"thanks Susan" blinked George, standing up.
Edmund laughed and said "call Lucy"
"no, it's rose"
"CALL LUCY" insisted Edmund.
Peter sighed. After a long arguement, they had decided on either Lucy or Luke for thje baby. Peter was glad he was a girl, because he was almost named Polly, after Mum's second cousin, Polly Plummer. Susan was almost Sean and Edmund was almost Emmalee.
But the new baby got of easy,it didn't have a simply horrind name. Peter thought Susan and Sean were horrid names, and Edmund was a big name for a little kid. And Emmalee, Emmalee was just plain STUPID.
But both Lucy and Luke were nice names, Short and too the point. And Lucy was only a letter away from "Lucky" and Luke wasa letter away from "Luck"! Which was true, this baby was lucky, it was going to be the youngest!
Susan sat down next to him
"Su, I'm sorry I broke your doll. I'll buy you a new one. I promise" he told her.
"I shouldn't have left it out. Did it hurt your foot?"
"Not anymore then Edmund standing on it" Peter quipped.
Susan hugged her brother, "Did he do that?"
"Yes. and he ran into my stomach and nearly prevented me from starting my own family"
Susan winced..
Susan cooed over Lucy. Peter used a few simple words to describe her "Little, Lucky, Lovely" among them.
Edmund just repeatedly asked "where Lucy, where Lucy?"
"She's right here" Peter told him
"Not Rose, LUCY" cried Edmund, running to their grandmother.
"Edmund, this is Lucy Helen Pevensie." siad Grandma Pevensie gently.
"Aunt Lucy?" Edmund asked sadly.
"Edmund did you just want to call Aunt Lucy to tell her?" asked Peter, eyes wide
"Yeah." said Edmund.
The family looked at each other. They had all really wanted Rose, and had named her Lucy to stop Edmund from having a tantrum, but it hadn't been needed.
"When will we ever learn?" asked their mother, as Susan giggled.
I WANTED to hug Edmund after writing this!
