Hi. I decided to take a break from my writer's block to write this one-shot on Xenosaga. This takes place after Xenosaga III: Also Sprach Zarathustra. What can I say? I love it. This one-shot shows the blooming love between Allen Ridgeley and Shion Uzuki.
Oh and Do I need to write a disclaimer? Well, in that case Xenosaga does not belong to me but he this is a fanfic so enjoy!
All You Need Is Love
She couldn't believe it. Was she the only one blind to see the love that shone every time Allen looked at her? Or his way of stumbling and sputtering whenever he asked her to go outside with him to eat? What happened recently had opened her eyes to how much she also loved Allen. His courage when he took down the gnosis just for her, his confidence when he showed off against Kevin Winnicot, and his endless passion to stand by her and love her through her seemingly endless pain. She was an idiot to think that she was alone when she had such great friends such as KOS-MOS, chaos, Jr., MOMO, Ziggy, her brother Jin, and Allen. Kevin was sweet and a person of the past she had desperately clung on to because of her desire to not be alone anymore but he was of the past and it was time to look at her bright future with Allen.
Shion was sitting near the bar in the Elsa when Allen walked in. He looked nervous, as he usually did, but he came in with flowers. Just by looking at him, she could tell that he was healing from their fight with Kevin and she wanted to erase any doubts he had of her loving him. "Those are nice," Shion commented as she took the flowers Allen. "You..you think so? Oh, I meant I found them in Scientia and decided to tend to them so I could give them to you as a present," Allen replied. Allen still couldn't believe he was dating the love of his life, Shion. Even when they were in Vector, he was too scared to even approach her for a date and now they seemed like a normal loving couple. He knew in his heart that he would aide Shion in anyway that he could so she would not feel pain that he saw her going through for many years but he could not stop it. Now he would though, he would give her a reason to believe that their love was all that was needed for both of them to feel happiness.
"Oh Allen, you've been nothing but sweet to me ever since you've met me. I can't believe all the pain that I put you through," Shion told him. It was still hard for her to believe that anyone could give her such a selfless love as Allen had given her. Any other man would have either given up on her or run the other direction after he realized her problems but not Allen because he was special. Allen sat next to her and took her hands into his. She felt the familiar warmth run through her whenever Allen touched her or kiss her. Miyuki said that it gave her a special glow. She had caught them countless times holding hands especially when they came back to visit Scientia to see if everything was running well. Miyuki had actually caught them making out but that was only once. Shion felt her cheeks turn red at the thought. Contrary to what most of their friends thought, Allen was actually experienced in kissing. Who would have thought?
"It's because you deserve everything sweet," Allen said. Shion looked at him and she could see no lies in his eyes so she knew that he was not just saying anything corny or cheesy that he had learned but he meant it. She really did love him. Shion leapt into Allen's arms and hugged him tightly. When she pulled back she was ready for the lips that claimed her in a sweet kiss. Love was actually all that she needed.
