A/N: I wrote this when I was pondering what my Marauder name would be (I still haven't decided) and thought, What if Remus had a twin? And thus this was spawned. Enjoy.
"I've got it! Red! Because of your hair!" yelled Peter, jumping up excitedly.
"You're kidding. That's stupid." she retorted and Peter's face fell considerably. Rory was quickly getting tired of this game. She wanted a cool nickname like the rest of her friends but so far 'Red' was the best they had.
"Foxface. It'd match your animagus." suggested James calmly. Rory just scrunched her face in reply.
"That's embarrassing. Are you implying I look like a fox?" she asked nervously lightly touching her face to check for any fox-like features. James just grinned and looked away without a reply. Rory sighed and blew her bangs out of her eyes. At least Foxface was a little more original than Red, right?
"How about... Carrottop or Fircrotch?" offered Sirius with a wicked grin.
"Oh... I'll set your crotch on fire." Rory growled causing Sirius' eyes to widen and his hands to raise in self defense. Rory groaned, frustrated with the groups lack of creativity.
"Oh, screw it. There's nothing out there." she said.
"Romulus." stated Remus, her twin.
"What?"
"Romulus."
"No, you're Remus. I'm Rory and these dolts are Peter, James and Sirius."
"Romulus, founder of Rome. He was Remus' twin brother and alleged murder."
There was a long confused pause during which the party digested Remus' rather random spout of information. So what if Romulus was Remus' twin- Wait. Oh. Oh. OH!
"Oh!" she yelled, realization shining on her face. "Romulus. I'll be Romulus. It's ironic, right? I'm too protective to ever kill you and I'm not a boy!"
"Yeah, sure. Something like that." said Remus with a laugh.
"But it's funny too! It's genius! Oh, Rem, you're brilliant!"
"Ahh, alright, whatever you say."
