It was a nice, bright day in Lumiose City, and Ash and his freinds are taking a break before going their separate ways.
"You need to tell her soon, Ash." Said a blonde inventor whose name was Clemont.
"I'm just nervous that she doesn't like me back, Clemont." Said a raven-haired boy whose name was Ash.
"Just do it, Ash!" Said a little girl whose name was Bonnie.
"Come on, Bonnie!" Exclaimed Ash. "I don't want to right now!"
"Well then, I will tell her!"
"Bonnie, don't go..." Clemont tried to say.
"Ash needs to get a girlfriend, just like you, Clemont!"
"Oh, great." Replied the Inventor.
Bonnie stormed out of the room, leaving the two boys alone. A few minutes of silence passed by before Clemont said something.
"She definetly likes you, Ash. Have you seen the way that she looks at you or how kind she is to you? When you ask her to do something for you, she always says yes. When you compliment her, she always blushes. Have you ever even stopped to think about that?"
"No, I guess not, Clemont."
"Then just go tell her."
Just then, the door opens again, revealing Bonnie and a honey-haired girl with a blue ribbon on her chest.
"Hi, Serena! Hi, Bonnie!" Says Ash.
"So Serena, Ash has something to tell you!" Bonnie says.
"Wait, what Bonnie? I never said that!" Replies Ash.
"Yes you did!" Fine, then I will just say it! Serena, Ash..."
Bonnie is stopped by Clemont's Aipom Arm, which covers her mouth.
"Thanks." said Ash.
"Your welcome, Ash."
"So, Serena. Can we talk in private for a second?" asked Ash.
"Sure, Ash!" Answers Serena.
"Yay! Good luck Ash!" yells Bonnie.
"Bonnie..." Clemont started.
Clemont leads Bonnie outside and then shuts the door.
"So what did you want to talk about, Ash?" asked a curious Serena.
"Well, it is a little personal..."
"But I am one of your best friends, Ash!"
"Fine."
"Yay!"
"The thing is, Serena... I... l-like you...".
Serena was shocked. She never thought that Ash would ever replicate the feelings that she had for him. And she most definetly thought that she would tell Ash first. But she could not believe what was happening just then. Her life long crush, admitting that he likes her...
"Serena?"
Serena came out of her trance and then said "Would you believe it if I said t-that I l-like y-you, too, A-Ash?"
"Wow!"
"And I will prove it."
Serena ran over towards Ash and then kissed him. Ash might have admitted his feelings first, but she had made the first move. The first kiss.
"Serena, will you be my girlfriend?" asked Ash, with a huge blush on hie face.
Serena, with an even bigger blush, answered "Why, of course Ash!"
They walked out of the door holding hands, playing back all of what had just happened, their lives changed forever.
