CHAPTER 1
Emmett Shut Up!
JASPER'S POV
It started off as a typical day at Forks High School. It was lunch and we were all sitting together as usual. I was sitting with Alice my girlfriend, Emmett was with Rosalie, and Edward was with Bella. We were all talking about spring break and what our plans were. Of course we were doing everything together I mean we've been best friends since the first day we met.
"I say we go to Disney world!" Emmett excitedly exclaimed causing a lot of stares. "Emmett shut up!" Rosalie said smacking the back of his head, "Were not going to Disney world. Not after last time at least." Last time we went Emmett was hanging with Bella (Edward was with Rosalie and Emmett was with Bella back then) and was supposed to keep an eye on her because of an incident that had happened.
Bella's father left Renee when she about 13. Renee had won custody of Bella much to her dismay. Renee had remarried soon after to a guy named Phil. They said they were in love and decided to adopt, that's how we met Alice. Renee and Phil adopted Alice and she became Bella's sister and they were the best of friends.
FLASHBACK
I was walking down the street and heard screaming coming from inside a house. I looked to see what it was when I heard glass break. I ran up to the house and heard someone scream "PHIL STOP NO STOP PHIL PLEASE!!!!!" I busted into the house and ran upstairs to where I heard the screaming coming from. I peeked in the door and saw Phil beating Alice and Bella was in the corner crying with bruises all over her. I quickly ran down the stairs when I saw something lying in the kitchen floor.
I slowly walked over to the object and looked at it. It was Renee she was lying there lifeless covered with bruises and cuts and was bleeding. I walked closer to the body and took a closer look. She wasn't moving and she was in pretty bad shape. Then I noticed it… Renee was dead.
I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I ran out of the house and called the cops, my dad Dr. Carlisle Cullen, and my best friends Emmett and Edward. The cops showed up, as did everyone else. Phil was arrested, Renee was pronounced dead, and Rosalie who Edward had brought along was going to the hospital with Alice and Bella to make sure they were alright.
The hospital and the cops tried to notify Charlie but never got an answer. They called one of his friends Billy Black who had said Charlie had died about a month ago from a heart attack. Bella and Alice were now orphans, and going through extreme trauma. So of course my parents Carlisle and Esme adopted them both and we became one big happy family. Especially since Edward and Emmett and Rosalie moved in a couple months before that after a house fire.
We all went to Disney world that year. Alice and I were going on the tilt-a-whirl, Edward and Rosalie were going to Space Mountain, and Emmett and Bella were going on the tea cups. Bella had told Emmett she would be right back she was running to the bathroom, but of course Emmett didn't listen and thought he lost her.
Emmett ran around the park like a mad man grabbing any girl who resembled Bella in the slightest way. This had caused him to be chased by security cops and arrested and not to be released until we come and got him. So Bella hung with Alice and I the rest of the day. We made Emmett wait about 6 hours before we finally came and bailed him out.
END FLASHBACK
"Aw come on Rose it was a onetime thing it won't happen again I promise."
Emmett kept whining and Rose finally cut in. "Your damn straight it won't happen again because if you "lose" me then you'll lose me forever and I won't bail you out either. Emmett shut up after that and didn't talk for the rest of lunch, which happened to be quite peaceful.
