Alexander Hamilton was never a man of few words. It felt as though he would go on for hours if he began to speak. He was an opinionated man, never letting a moment to debate escape his grasp. Meeting new people pent up an excitement with a hint of anxiety in the man. He always wanted to talk, however, that could be his downfall. He had a big mouth that got him in more messes than he'd like to admit. But right now, he had to focus on opening an envelope. It wasn't hard. Alexander knew how to open a fucking envelope. However, this one was different. A college acceptance letter. This would determine his fate, what he'd end up doing with his life. Whether or not he would get into King's College would change everything. He let out a sigh, before pulling back the flap of the envelope. He pulled out the thick piece of paper, unfolding it. The first word he saw was Congratulations! He let out a scream of joy, falling back onto his childhood bed, which was far too short for him. ...Even though he was barely five feet. He hadn't moved out yet, despite being prepared to after receiving the letter. He wanted to be prepared to drop everything and go. He had to work at a local retail shop, and he attended a few classes at community college. However, he was willing to drop all of that to go to law school. He had a hard time believing the luck he had. He scanned over the letter, trying to read it completely before he started crying from joy and disbelief. Congratulations! Alexander Hamilton, you have been accepted into King's College. You will be in dorm room 510 with a roommate who is also in their freshman year. The letter had his schedule and a few other points of interest. The author isn't sure how college letters work, though. He grinned as he clutched the letter to his chest. School was set to start in five days, and he was a few counties away. He would pack the last of his things and load up his car. He looked out his window, letting a smile cross his face. He was going to King's College.
