A poem dedicated to Kira & Cagalli.

I haven't been uploading recently, so I thought this might feed you for a while.

Keep in mind, I suck at poems, but I would love to hear feedback!

Forward!

Forgetting is never a pleasure,

Never a delight.

No matter the measure,

It's never bright.

...

We met, in rising conflicts of fire,

The burning hatred of war.

You met me, a stranger, in situations' dire.

Saving me, leaving me wanting more.

...

In the sands of desert Africa,

The lands of oppression and famine,

We met again, this time as comrades,

And you became my champion.

...

The Desert Tiger, though in Death's chain,

Still had his sharp teeth within you.

He left you with scars and the pain,

With my comfort, you were able to continue.

...

You promised me you would never die,

If only you didn't tell the lie.

The pain of losing my loved ally,

Was enough to make me cry.

...

But our love was too strong, you came back.

Seeing you,

Touching you,

Holding you,

Made my love escape the black.

...

Side by side, once again,

We stood to fight not our friend,

But the enemy in our sight.

...

I commanded, you fought, none of it mattered.

Even with the Freedom and Justice, we scattered.

I was not worried, I had no other,

Until I found out, you were my brother.

...

My heart was dying, I wanted you.

My soul was crying, it was taboo.

...

And seeing the horror on your face,

Which could not even escape the vacuum of space,

I cried, you cared.

Both hurt, so we shared.

...

We play our part so well in acting,

That I wonder how people are reacting,

To the sight, if they caught my twin,

Falling in love, all over again.

...

We never cared when we committed our dark delights.

There's nothing wrong with what we do with our nights.

With our bed-sheets crossed, our fingers entwined,

My love is yours, and yours is mine.

...

I cannot forget the past, it always hurts,

But forgetting you're my brother, has its perks.

….

...
