Chapter one
I was running on the track, getting ready for the one mile run. When all the sudden this girl walked out in the middle of my path. I had no time to veer around her, so I ended up on the ground with her on top. That's weird. I thought I ran into her, so shouldn't she be on the bottom. I thought to myself. That's when I met her. Nicole. She was every bit as beautiful as a guy could imagine. After about what seemed liked several hours of us staring at each other, she started to blush and hastily tried to get up.
Later that day I am told by one of my best friends that the girl I bumped into up at the track, liked me and that she wanted to go out with me. Well shit. Why must all the girls I run into fall in love with me. Cause if I go out with her then 1.) I have to tell her what I am, 2.)ill have to turn her into what I am. I thought to my self. But trust me, it is a extremely excruciating process to get turned into a vampire. I should know, I was bit Almost three hundred years ago.
So im sitting in my science class and all the sudden I realized something. The chick that I ran into was in my science class. It was then that I remembered that her name was Nicole Legaspi. And all the sudden it all clicked. She was also in my JROTC unit and that explains why she an I ran into each other on the track. Well I was in deep in thought all the sudden I felt a light tap on my shoulder and looked up to see that everyone was paired except me an Nicole. "Yea we can be partners Nicole," I said scooching over on the bench that I could have sworn my friend was sitting on next to me.
Our project for the remainder of the class was to write about how carbon cycles through the oceans. Well since I was great at science I kinda lead the project. "So do you want to write or should I," I asked her. "ill write what you say." She said. "ok. So, lets start with the thesis statement. Scientists wanted to find out what happens with carbon dioxide in the oceans." And so the project begins.
