*Disclaimer* I do not own The Loud House

AN: Hi everyone, I know is isn't "The Many Loves of Lincoln Loud" or "Confessions of a Grade School Goth". But I was requested by crafordbrian17 to help make this story and I just couldn't say no. So I hope you like it.

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Royal Woods, Michigan.

The sun was shining bright; birds were chirping and not a grey cloud in the sky. But most importantly, Lincoln Loud actually had the day off. All of his sisters were out and on their own.

Lori took a bus to visit Bobby; Leni was working a shift at Reiningers, Luna had band practice, Luan was performing at a birthday party, Lynn had basketball practice, Lucy was hanging out with the writing club at the Burnt Bean café, Lana relaxing at the pond with Hops, Lola at the beauty pageant studio, Lisa had a college class to teach and little Lily was with the parents spending the day with Pop-Pop and Myrtle.

And Lincoln knew exactly how to spend this day off.

For the past few weeks, Lincoln has been scrimping and saving all the money he could and doing a few extra chores around the house to add to allowance payment.

But it was all worth it.

Because he was on his way to Savino's Comics, the local comic book store in town. Today was the release of the newest issue of Ace Savvy and it was the introduction of the Full House gang arc.

About a month ago, the snow haired child and his best friend entered a Ace Savvy publishing contest and won.

Fortunately, he put in for a pre-order just in case if they would sell out fast.

As Lincoln finally reached the store, he could hardly keep in his excitement.

He opened the door and it was slightly busier than he was expecting. There was a small line forming at the register and all the customers in said line were clutching onto the new Ace Savvy issue.

That really made Lincoln smile. Granted, it was probably so people could keep up with the series. But maybe there could be more stuff with the Full House gang sometime in the near future.

So in the meantime, Lincoln decided to hang around the store and do a little window shopping.

Sometime later, there was only one customer left and then he can pick up his pre-order. That is until he saw who the last customer was, Renee Silverstein.

Now saying Lincoln felt scared would be a gross understatement. The last time he spoke to her was when his friends tried to him a new girlfriend after Ronnie Anne moved to the city. At first it was cool, until they started arguing over a rare comic and it was the only one in stock. He hasn't really seen her since, until today.

But then again, he shouldn't be all that surprised. She's a Savvy fan just like him.

Feeling brave, Lincoln decided to get behind her so the line wouldn't get big again. As Renee finished her transaction, she turned around to find Lincoln awkwardly smiling and patiently waiting for his turn.

"Lincoln Loud, as I live and breathe" she muttered.

"Uh, hi Renee" he replied awkwardly. 'You duncebag. That's the best you can come up with?!' his mind screamed. The two were in an awkward silence for about 3 minutes, until the manager came back with Lincoln's pre-order which peaked Renee's interest. "So, decided to be smart and placed a pre-order so you could secure a copy instead of rolling the dice?" the female Savvy fan asked.

"Yeah" Lincoln weakly replied.

Talking to a girl was never one of Lincoln's strengths. Talking to a girl who he got into an altercation with, he might as well be digging his own grave and jump in the hole. But something inside told him that he needed to talk to her. Maybe so he could apologize for acting like an idiot the last time they saw each other.

"So, rumor has it that you're the one who created the Full House gang is it true?" Renee asked in a attempt to start a conversation with the snow haired child. "Yeah it's true" Lincoln confirmed. "I entered the publishing contest with my friend Clyde and our story won." To say Renee was shocked would be an understatement.

While she didn't enter the contest herself, she kept a close eye on the submitters.

Her favorite…the Full House gang of course.

"Is it also true that you based those characters after your own sisters?" She asked. "Yes." And then he went on to explain how each member was modeled after each sister. It seemed like it took forever to explain since Lincoln's big reputation is coming from a family of 10 sisters.

"Wow, your sisters must be really something" Renee commented. "You have no friggin' idea" Lincoln muttered under his breath. Renee began talking again, "Listen, I'm kind of glad I ran into you here." "You are?" Lincoln asked "Yeah. I want to apologize for my behavior the last time we spoke to each other."

This took Lincoln by surprise.

"Funny, I wanted to apologize for my behavior" Lincoln told her. "Coming from a family of 10 sisters should've taught me better of handling situations like that." He paused and then continued, "To tell you the truth, I thought you were really cool. I don't exactly know a lot of girls who like comic books much less Ace Savvy. I just wish I gave you a better impression of me that day. I would've tried to talk to you sooner, but I didn't think you wanted anything to do with me." Now Renee felt just a little bit crummier.

"I had the same feeling" she admitted.

Then the two kids looked down at their shoes, shamefully.

"Hey" Lincoln said to get Renee's attention. "Instead of avoiding each other, maybe we can be friends? I mean, Savvy fans have to stick together." Renee pondered on Lincoln's offer. It would be nice having a friend that liked Ace Savvy just as much as her if not more. "Yeah, I'd like that very much" she answered.

"So, friends?" Lincoln stuck out his hand "Friends." Renee smiled as she shook his hand in agreement.

So as the two Savvy fans finally buried the hatchet, someone tries to sneak passed them. But unfortunately, Renee happened to recognize the mystery person. "Kat, is that you?" Renee asked. At the mention of her name, Lincoln's face slowly drained of color. The last time he was involved with Kat, it was during the whole "Girl Guru" disaster. He tried to set her up with his friend Zach, but the idiot nearly burned all her hair off. Since then he's tried to keep a safe distance in case if she still wanted his head on a stick.

"Oh, hi Renee" Kat spoke in an awkward tone not unlike Lincoln's from before.

At that moment, Lincoln took stock of Kat's appearance. Instead of her red jacket, she opted for a red short sleeved cardigan but kept her peach shirt and gray polka dot skirt and wearing red slip-on shoes instead of heels. But she was also wearing a pair of sunglasses and a big brownish explorer's hat.

'Why is she trying to disguise herself?' Lincoln thought.

Another thought came to his head, 'How do Renee and Kat know each other?'

Aside from the fact that they all attend the same school, those two don't really seem like compatible friends. Kat ran with the popular crowd, with kids like Chandler and his friends. But then again, Renee is friends with Girl Jordan and she too is friends with Kat. 'A friend of a friend kind of situation' Lincoln thought.

Unfortunately, Lincoln was snapped back into reality courtesy of Renee smacking his arm.

This also caught Kat's attention. "Hey, I remember you." Lincoln slightly felt the urge to hurl right then and there. "Yeah, you're that "Girl Guru" guy" she proclaimed. "Why were you going inside the comic book store?" Lincoln blurted out, and then clamped his mouth shut with both of his hands.

Sweat pouring down his forehead, heart pounding steadily, arms and legs quaking, his brain slowly breaking.

'Oh god I'm dead, I'm SO dead!' Lincoln thought.

And then he felt a slight touch by an unknown source, and then he collapsed.

"Lincoln, LINCOLN!" *Groan*

It took a while for Lincoln to adjust his eyes. But as he began to snap out it; his vision came into focus, in the form of Renee and Kat. "Ugh, what happened?" Lincoln grunted. "You fainted after I tried to get your attention" Renee answered. And then Lincoln remembered why he fainted.

He turned to Kat, got on his knees and started to beg for mercy on his poor unfortunate soul.

To say Kat was taken aback by this would be a gross understatement.

"Hey listen, I'm not mad about that anymore" Kat tried to say to get his attention. Then Lincoln stopped and looked up at her in confusion. "I'm sorry that I brought up "Girl Guru" but it's like the only thing I remember about you." She brought up a good point; Lincoln and Kat were part of two completely social groups.

So there's not a lot of reason why those two would interact with each other.

"Fair enough" Lincoln admitted, "I'm sorry that it sounded like I was interrogating you about the comic book store." "But why are you here?" Renee asked, "Not that I'm not happy to see you. But I always figured this would be the last place I'd expect to run into you." Kat began to feel a nervous now.

'Should I tell her the truth?' she asked herself. The truth, being that Kat was actually a secret comic book reader. Specifically, an Ace Savvy reader. And she too, was ready for the introduction of the Full House gang.

It's not that she was ashamed of herself for liking Ace Savvy, but more on the lines not wanting people like Chandler and his band of goons ready to bust her chops.

But Renee is a close friend, and she's proud to let people know considering her t-shirt. Heck, ever her other friend Jordan likes Savvy as well and nobody makes fun of her. But then again, that could be because no one would want to face her wrath on the dodgeball court.

"Truth time?" Kat asked Renee and she nodded knowing what she meant.

"I'm here for the same reason why you two are here." It took a few minutes for Renee and Lincoln to understand what Kat meant by that, until Lincoln put the pieces together.

"You like Ace Savvy, don't you?" Lincoln asked, and Kat gave a confirming nod.

"What? Seriously?! Why is this the first I'm hearing of this?" Renee started to get herself in a tizzy; it took both Kat and Lincoln to calm her back down. Then Kat turned to Renee, "I know I should've said something sooner, but I was afraid of what people would think of me. I know that sounds really lame but-" Kat was cut off by Lincoln. "I don't mean to stop the self-pity, but I of all people know where you're coming from. Every time I do anything related to comics at my house, my sisters never miss the opportunity to bust my balls."

Lincoln continued, "But if there's one thing that I've learned over the years, is that if I had to worry about my sisters every time I wanted to do something, I'd never do anything. What I'm trying to tell you is, that you can't spend your whole life worrying about what other people think. It's not fair for you to be someone else just to please the masses. Do you understand what I'm saying?"

Kat took a moment to think about Lincoln's words.

On one hand, she still felt scared what people would think of her. On the other hand, here were Lincoln and Renee and they haven't so much as chuckled at her reveal thinking it was the most hilarious thing ever.

'Maybe it's time I stop pretending' Kat thought.

"Well, this has been fun. But I'm on a bit of a schedule, so I'm going to try to get the issue before it's sold out." With that, Kat made her way inside the store.

Renee and Lincoln both shared nervous glances at each other.

5.5 seconds later, Kat came back in a huff. "I think there was something you two forgot to mention" she said in an accusation tone. "I take it you know that it's sold out" Lincoln muttered weakly.

"Is it safe to assume you two bought the last two copies?" Kat asked.

Both of them nodded in guilt. For a split second, Kat thought about asking one of them if she could buy their copy. But then again, she's known Renee long enough to know that the only way to get a comic from her was to pry it off her cold dead hands. And assumed Lincoln was the same way.

But then Lincoln came up with an idea.

"Uh, Kat" he spoke gaining Kat's attention. "I know where you can find a copy of the Full House gang issue and it won't cost you anything." Renee wondered where Lincoln was going with this, until it hit her. Lincoln was the one to create the Full House gang. So he must still have the original version he made for the publishing contest. 'What a noble sacrifice, my white haired comrade' she thought.

"You do?" Kat asked.

"Yeah, it's actually at my house. If you want, you can come over to look at it before deciding if you want it."

Kat had some serious consideration to do. One hand, she's heard a lot of weird stories about Lincoln's house over the years. On the other hand, she really wanted the comic book. On another hand, how can she be sure that Lincoln is telling the truth? But then again, what reason could he have for lying?

"You got yourself a deal Loud" Kat answered to Lincoln's offer.

"Do you to mind if I tag along?" Renee asked. Lincoln didn't have a problem with it and neither did Kat, so the two nodded. Then Renee started to jump for joy at the prospect of getting a behind the scenes look at the making of the Full House gang story. But then quickly toned down at remembering that Kat doesn't know that Lincoln created it. And then all of a sudden, Kat's phone started to vibrate.

She looked at it, and saw that her friend Avery texted her.

She sent a message saying that she was bored and asked Kat if she was free today. Kat look over to comic loving duo with a pleading smile, "Uh, this might be a lot to ask but is there any way there could be room for one more for this gathering?" For extra measure, Kat threw in puppy dog eyes.

"Sure the more the merrier" Lincoln answered. And Lincoln gave Kat his address so she send it to Avery and said that she could meet her there.

After a long trek back to Lincoln's neighborhood, they finally reached his house. Needless to say, Kat and Renee were nervous due to all the crazy stories they both have heard.

"I should tell you that all of my sisters and even my parents are out for the day, so it would just be us." Kat and Renee both let out a sigh of relief, Lincoln took no offense.

He knows better than anyone just how chaotic his house can get.

As Lincoln used his key to open the door, the kids walked on inside. Out of courtesy, Kat took off her hat and sunglasses and placed it on one of the hooks on the wall. 'Huh, looks nicer on the inside' both Kat and Renee thought. The outside of the house was littered with toys and etc. "Yeah. With 11 children, we try to keep the inside as clean as possible" Lincoln spoke as if he could read their minds. "So anyway, follow me to my room and I can show you the comic book."

Kat and Renee followed Lincoln up the stairs and took a right at the top. As he opened the door, the two girls couldn't help but be astounded. In spite of his room being a converted linen closet, he manages to keep it cozy and organized. They noticed Lincoln pulling something from under the bed, it was a box marked "Full House story". Upon opening the box, the first thing that shed light was the exact comic Lincoln and Clyde created for the contest. "Listen, since it's kind of crowded in here how about we take this back downstairs?" Lincoln asked. Both Kat and Renee nodded in agreement as it is a little cramped in here. 'How he manages to sleep is a wonder' the girls thought. So the kids made their way back downstairs and went to the couch, and then Lincoln placed the box on the coffee table. Lincoln paused for a moment.

And then places the comic book on the table for Kat to look at. As she gave it a good inspection, it was then she noticed the creators name at the bottom; "Team Clincoln McCloud".

It took Kat a full minute to realize what was going on.

'Clincoln McCloud, it sounds familiar. Could it be?' Kat thought. "Linc, did you create the Full House gang?" she finally asked. Then Lincoln finally told the truth, "Yes. A while ago, there was this Ace Savvy publishing contest. And being the Ace Savvy fan that I am, it was a no brainer that I should at least enter the contest. At first it was hard to come up with an original idea, but then out of blue I started to remember all the times my sisters were there for me. It was almost like a superhero team. And that's how I came up with the Full House gang. Each member is based off a sister and the rest is history" Lincoln finished his story.

Kat didn't know what to say after that.

The fact that he was inspired by his sisters even though they give him a hard time about comic books. And now he's willing to hand over the original copy that he hand-drew all because the store sold out.

She almost felt, undeserving.

Up until now, she has never spoken one word to Lincoln. Not to mention "Girl Guru" again. And all the times she laughed at him when he was caught doing something embarrassing either at school or in the general public. And earlier, he was scared to death of her when she brought up that fiasco.

And yet here he was, willing to give away a comic that he personally created to someone that not only he barely knows but was never exactly on good terms with. "I know we don't exactly have the greatest history, but maybe that can change. But I would really like it if you take it. And to sweeten the deal; the rest of the box contains all the drawings, sketches and sheets of dialogue from when I created the book. It can all be yours, all you have to do is say yes." Lincoln told Kat. Renee, sitting on the recliner having some major feels.

'I will seriously kick her but if she says no' Renee thought.

It took Kat a full minute to make a decision, but then she had one.

Kat turned to Lincoln and told him, "If you're really okay with me taking it, I promise that I will take care of it. I am an only child, so I don't need to worry about anyone trying to do anything weird to it. So my answer is, yes. I would like no, love no, I would be honored if you let me take this."

Lincoln then smiled, "That's what I was hoping you would say."And then Kat gave him a bear hug not unlike the ones he would receive from his sister Leni.

*KNOCK-KNOCK* Lincoln and Renee were confused. Who was at the door? But Kat knew who it was.

"Don't get up I got it" She told the confused Savvy fans. As Kat walked to the front door and opened it to find Kat's mystery friend from earlier. To say Lincoln and Renee were surprised by her appearance would be a gross understatement. First, she looked to be around Leni's age. Her outfit in Lincoln's opinion, looked like Lori's friend Whitney's outfit except the sleeves were longer and the colors were a two-tone green and she was wearing white slip on shoes. But the thing that made her stick out the most was her hair.

Platinum blonde and it sticks out like a six foot beach ball.

"Guys, this is Avery. We met last year at one my parents' banquets and we really hit it off" Kat explained. "Hi, nice to meet you" Avery said. "Come in, come in there's plenty of room" Kat tried to encourage her.

It only took 2 steps for her hair to get stuck in the doorway.

Kat was a little worried, "Do you need help?" she asked. "No, I can get in myself" Avery answered. After 4 minutes of struggling, she asked for help. Kat then asked Renee if she could help by holding one arm while she held the other one. And poor ol' Lincoln couldn't help but only watch this little debacle.

"Okay, let's try one more time" Kat huffed, "All together now; one, two, THREE!" By some miracle, the bushy haired woman popped in and went flying in and landed in a thud. "Uh excuse me Avery," Lincoln spoke up for the first time since Avery's arrival. "If you don't mind me asking, how does one end up with hair like yours?" Renee was wondering the same thing.

"Oh I get that all the time" Avery answered as Renee secretly stoked her hair along her fingers. 'It's like a giant marshmallow' she thought. "It's actually interesting, I get my hair color from my father and I get my volume from my mother. It's not easy maintenance let me tell you, like the time I tried to wear a hoodie last fall."

(Flashback #1)

"Avery sweetie," her mother called out. "Are you ready to go…?" Her mother paused as she found her daughter sitting on the floor with a pouty look on her face, and her hair spilling on the rim of the hoodie and it made her back look like Quasimodo. Her mother was completely flabbergasted.

"Then there was the time I was shopping with my dad and my hair almost knocked over everything."

(Flashback #2)

One day, Avery and her dad were walking around Reiningers. All was going well, until Avery was walking by some ceramic pieces on some shelves. Her hair kept shaking the shelves and almost made everything fall off. She noticed and managed to save the ceramics from breaking, until she heard her father call her and then all the ceramics fell to the floor and broke. "Dang it!" Avery muttered.

"And the time I was riding the bus."

(Flashback #3)

One day, Avery decided to ride the bus to downtown Royal Woods. That was a big mistake. She ended up squishing a nun and a school teacher that were sitting in between her.

"And then there was the time my family was on vacation and I tried to use one of those glass showers."

(Flashback #4)

It started innocently. She was trying to wet her hair like normal but for some reason, it wasn't working. If anything, it was soaking up the water like a sponge. She tried to fight, but the struggling only made it worse. A minute later, all of her hair took over the space of the shower.

As Avery finished her stories; Kat, Renee and Lincoln were in complete shock at her hair-raising tales.

'I would hate to be her hair stylist' Renee and Kat thought.

And then the bushy haired guest looked over to Lincoln who had been extremely quiet through all of this. "Hey little man, you okay?" she asked him. "Yeah I'm fine" Lincoln answered. "If my little sister Lisa were here, she would want to study your hair." Avery wondered if she should be flattered of creeped out.

And then the bushy haired woman had a thought.

"Would you like to touch it? My hair that is" she asked Lincoln. If Lincoln were drinking something at the time, he would've either spat it out or choke on it. But the thing that made the white haired child feel the most uncomfortable was that he really wanted to take her up on the offer.

"Don't be afraid little man," Avery tried to reassure him "I don't bite" she joked.

Lincoln looked over to Renee and Kat, who were surprisingly giving him encouragement. Then he looked back to Avery and gave a very deep gulp. "If you're okay with it…" he stated.

"I'd more insulted if you didn't" Avery joked again. Lincoln then proceeded to touch Avery's hair. For being extremely bushy, it was also extremely soft. And then Lincoln almost shaped a little bit of it into a makeshift pillow. "I swear I could fall asleep right now" he muttered.

All the girls let out a small giggle as Lincoln tried not to fall asleep in Avery's hair.

After a minute and a half, Avery nudged Lincoln as a sign of "Nap time" being over. Lincoln finally let go while blush grew on his cheeks. "Sorry. I always thought my sister Lori had large hair, until I met you."

After a half hour of lounging around the living room and having delightful conversations, Lincoln and Renee learned some interesting things about Avery. Like she's aspiring to be a professional photographer when she gets older, she drives a white 1992 Jeep Wrangler that seats four and she really enjoys the outdoors.

This got Kat thinking.

"I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't think I want to spend my Saturday just sitting indoors" she talked out loud gaining everyone's attention. And they were all thinking the same thing.

Kat then continued, "I know this really nice forest that's perfect for a nature walk."

This really peaked Avery's interest due to her liking the outdoors. Renee and Lincoln thought it over and while they are not exactly outdoor people, they couldn't help but agree that it's too nice to stay inside.

"We can take my jeep" Avery offered.

"All in favor in the nature walk please raise your hands" Kat ordered, and everyone immediately raised their hands. "Perfect, a unanimous vote." Kat then went back to the coat hooks to grab her hat and sunglasses from earlier. Kat and Lincoln came out first, and then Avery and Renee.

Until Avery's hair got stuck in the door again.

Just as Kat and Lincoln were ready to help, Renee came charging from inside the house and popped the poor girl out the door. "Thank you" she grunted to Renee. "T'wart nothin" she replied.

As Lincoln and the girls made their way to Avery's jeep, Kat quickly remembered something, "Wait, I forgot something inside the house!" Then she asked Lincoln for his key and rushed back inside. Then she came back with a very familiar box in her arms. 'How could've I possibly forgot that?' Lincoln thought. "Is it possible that we can make a pit stop to my house? I have something I need to drop off" Kat asked Avery.

She said it was no problem since she knew where Kat lived. With everyone strapped in and Kat's box secured in the back, the group was on their way.
