Baby Lily
This is an add-on to Wonderment.
Not mentioned in any of this is that I do not own Harry Potter or any of his associates.
Three months had past since the birth of Lily. The role of parenthood had caused Severus and Harry to bond even deeper. Their love was absorbed by Lily, who was thriving. She was a good baby, interested in everything, and never taking her eyes off of her daddies, who were just thrilled to see accidental magic coming through already. In her crib, she had learned to flap and pitch her small receiving blanket in the air, then giggling when it floated down on her. Harry was sure she was mountains smarter than Hermione. Severus growled, "This girl will not be a know-it-all." Maybe she can go to Hogwarts early, Harry thought". Severus thought it would be better to wait a few years. Nappies and school didn't seem like a good idea.
More planning of Lily's future came about when Minerva visited the small family. She, too, was amazed that already Lily was displaying accidental magic. She agreed with Severus that it would be wise to wait a while before considering admission to Hogwarts. In the mean time, Minerva suggested that Lily receive lessons in the arts. Piano, drawing, and painting would be a good way for her to expand her magical gifts. Like your mother did, Severus, she could learn reading and simple spells and potions. "And flying! I can teach her Quidditch", exclaimed a now excited Harry. "Well, let's go easy on that", said Severus. "I gave Harry a broom before he was 1 year old. There's a picture somewhere of him flying it. "See Severus, if Minerva had me flying at one, so could Lily", piped in Harry. Suddenly, they all looked at Lily, and thought the same thing: What a tiny little girl for all these plans!
