Their Little Boy
The hand had left a mark on the side of my face
The very same mark that reappears every other day.
Their perfect little boy
Is what I was called
Well, that is, until the day I betrayed them all.
I'm not complaining
I don't regret the choice I made.
This I told them
And ended up in the hospital the very next day.
Had my parents ever cared about their little boy
I'd be sitting their with them
Not writing this letter goodbye.
Hear Me
Hear me,
All I wanted was to prove you wrong
Hear me,
All I needed was to feel loved,
Hear me,
All I cared about was what I had done wrong,
Hear me,
Why can't I just come along?
Hear me,
I found the place were I belong,
Now hear me,
It's were you believe I should have gone wrong.
My Letter Goodbye
Dear mom and dad,
I packed all my things
And climbed out the window
Being caught the moment I got out.
I was sent back home by the police
Little did they know the beating you'd give me.
So, I lay in bed
Nursing these wounds
Hoping beyond hope that you'd be leaving soon.
When you said you were leaving for a few days,
I tried to keep the joy from becoming evident on my face,
You locked all the doors and left me home alone,
Little did you know that soon I'd be leaving this God- forsaken home.
So, I packed all my things
And unlocked all my doors
I wrote you this goodbye letter
And guess what?
I didn't get caught this time!
