The babysitters club clients- in High School
Hi. My name's Kristy Thomas, and I was a part of the BabySitters Club
I'm Claudia Kishi and I used to be the V.P. of the BSC
My name is MaryAnne Spier and I, along with my best friends, were part of the Baby Sitting Club,
Hi! I'm Stacey, and I was a part of the BSC when I was thirteen
My name is Dawn. I used to be the associate member
Hey, I'm Mallory and I was a babysitter. Note the "was"
My name is Jessi Ramsey and I am a dancer, I was part of this club once, but we've broken up
Kristy's POV
When I was twelve, my mom needed a babysitter, but no one was available. It was then I had an idea: call one place and get a ton of babysitters! And thus, the Baby-Sitters Club was born.
The BSC went on from 6th to 8th grade, but just before High School, we broke up.
And now none of us speak.
Do I still see them? Absolutely. A day hasn't passed where I haven't seen Mary Anne with her preppy friends, talking and laughing, or Stacey and Claudia, ruling the school from different cliques (Claudia's with the arty but fashionable girls, Stacey's with the stereotypically popular girls) or Mallory with her boyfriend, Ben.
It hurts, knowing when I wave, no one will wave back.
Anyway, we're still pretty much the same.
I hang out with the sporty kids at school. I still babysit my younger siblings. The "Big House" as Karen calls it has expanded again.
Charlie is 20, and he's dating Janine Kishi. I know, none of us saw it coming. But apparently, he and she used to hang out during our meetings.
Sam is 18, and he's dating a girl from the local college called Kaitlynn. She's really pretty, nice and smart. Better yet, she keeps him grounded.
I'm 16. I'm completely single but I do have a crush on someone. Michael. We've kissed, but yesterday I saw him holding hands with Cokie Manson, so that's probably going nowhere.
Karen is ten now, and she's "divorced" Ricky Torres. She now wants to give her heart to Bobby Ginalli, but he's interested in Nancy. This has caused the Three Musketeers to "break up". Nancy and Hannie are still friends, but Karen is now friends with Addie and Ricky.
David Michael is also ten and he's "dating" Natalie Springer, much to Karen's horror and my amusement. It's sweet, though.
Emily-Michelle is seven, and she loves school. She gets so excited about learning, and it is adorable. She and Andrew go to the same school. Andrew's still shy, but without Karen overpowering him, he's coming into his own.
I also have another sister, adopted again. Her name is Joanna Brewer and she is 10, Karen and David Michael's age. She's confident, a bit nasty but still a good person. She's close friends with Charlotte Johannsen and Vanessa Pike.
I still hang out with Logan and sometimes Abby, but none of the others. Mary Anne and I don't even email anymore.
"Kristy!" mom calls. I throw on a jacket and run downstairs, two at a time.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"Watson and I are going out. Can you look after your siblings?"
"Course." I smile
"Fantastic!" mom and Joanna say at the same time, for very different reasons.
