A/N: This is my first Gossip Girl fanfiction! Its tv-show based. Enjoy (:

Five year old Blair Waldorf stepped onto the playground with her blonde haired, blue eyed friend Serena Van Der Woodsen, their nanny's both watching from a near by bench. Blair's dark brown ringlets and big brown eyes were gorgeous, yet she was always being compared with her Serena. Serena was always the cuter, prettier one. Blair didn't mind too often. She loved Serena like a sister and would never think of being jealous of her.

"Come on Blair! Let's go on the slide!" Serena exclaims and grabs her friend's hand, dragging her to the slide. The two girls climb up. Serena goes down first, squealing with delight as she landed in the sand. A boy with sandy brown hair comes up to her. It's Nate Archibald.

"Are you okay?" He asks politely

Serena giggles. "I'm fine. Wanna play on the monkey bars with me?!"

Nate nods with a smile.

"Blair! I'm going on the monkey bars!" Serena yelled up to Blair, who was about to slide down. Serena skipped off in the direction of the monkey bars, Nate slowly following behind her.

Blair slid down the bright red slide. She hadn't heard her friend call up to her. The brunette looked around for Serena. She finally saw her with Nate. Instantly Blair was angry. She tried to push the jealousy into the back of her mind but she couldn't. She ran to the swings and sat there swinging and sulking, staring at her shiny black maryjane shoes.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

Blair look up from the ground to see a young boy looking at her. He had dark brown hair like her. She smiled.

"I guess so. My friend Serena won't play with me. She's playing with another boy right now."

"I'll play with you." The boy said.

Blair was ecstatic, but she didn't dare show it. A boy finally wanted to play with her?! She was so happy. Someone chose her over Serena.

"Really?" She asked, her chocolate eyes glowing brightly.

"Sure," He smiled back at her.

"I'm Blair, what's your name?

"I'm Chuck Bass." He smirked at her. The meaning of that smirk was more than her five year old mind could comprehend, but she knew it was something.

A/N: I know its short, sorry about that. Thoughts? Reviews are nice (: Should I continue it?
