Author's Note

This is not a cross-over, but an original story. I cannot find any category for it. Review would be highly appreciated. I have not written in a long time.

Prologue

Long ago, in a time long forgotten by the age of men, when demons roamed and magic was common tongue, the world had two great kingdoms. The Kingdom of Lumiére and the kingdom of Obscurité. These two kingdoms were in a constant state of war. Each war won led to a loss, and each loss gave way to victory. Neither side winning nor losing. Each kingdom kept their boarders heavily guarded for fear of an unexpected attack.

Even with both kingdoms taking up a good portion of the world, there was the nomads lands. The large areas of land, as far as the eye could see, between the boarders of the two kingdoms. It was the land of demons, and the few small tribes of humans scattered here or there.

This relationship lasted for the better part of an age, until the unforgettable day of truce. A day that should never have been forgotten, but an event lost in the history of man. It was this day that the fighting ceased, that the Kingdom of Lumiére was lost forever. It was old magic, magic long since forgotten. For the Ruler of Obscurité was to finally squash his enemy.

Under a banner of truce, the Lord of Obscurité met with the Lord of Lumiére. It was here that the Lord betrayed his honor, and infiltrated the Kingdom of Lumiére. The precious and beautiful city was no more. A new age dawned, that of Obscurité's negligence. Lumiére was now an enslaved nation, burning and dying by the might of the Lords of Obscurité.

Decades passed and the kingdoms crumbled. The magic of Light and Dark became lost to all. All history, all presence, every sign of the old grandeur of the world was lost forever, except to one man.

It was in his bloodline that the old world lived on. That hopefully, one day, the beacons of old would be lit once more and the world would become a place of peace, one that had been longed for forever.

This hope never became a reality. The bloodline was to be lost and destroyed.

It was now time to fix it.
