Something special

A/N: Back from vacation and back from the dead! Got home just in time to rest my lovely new tan, and have a look-see at all the commotion about a new Avatar series. Must say. It passes awesome on an astronomical scale of a kerzillion. At least. At modest, shy least. So obsessed right now. Anywhovian, you all know the drill, I don't own the characters involved, and I really don't own the scene either. I just saw this last bit and had to have a fangirl freakout for a couple minutes.

R&R, lovelies. R&R.

Until we meet again:

He looked out over the water at Airbending Island, lit up in the darkness. He knew she was there, that irritating, irrational girl with her silly hairstyle and her big blue eyes that were only pretending to be innocent. Probably celebrating her first victory as a pro bender. But Mako couldn't sleep, and he didn't know why. He ought to have been down with his brother, getting ready for bed and resting after the tough match. They'd barely scraped by, and this sesason would be the tipping point in whether they kept on bending or went to work in the service industry as two orphan boys should've a long time ago. Rest, unwinding, and hardcore practice should've been first and foremost on his mind. He didn't make a habit of mooning over girls like his brother did. And yet all he could think about was her. Even the water gliding over the invisible rocks far below seemed to whisper her name.

Korra.
