A/N: I know I'm late but happy 413 fanfiction! Before the update, I thought about how Homestuck could have ended. This was the result.
But before I the actual story I just want to say to all of you who read this:
Thank you for being part of this fandom. It's been a wild ride and I appreciate everyone who made this fandom what it is. We've had our unfavorable moments, it happens to all fandoms. But the past three years have been great. Though Homestuck has ended the fandom will live on forever. We're always going to be a family. So every 413, even though Homestuck has ended, I still want to go out and see people in their God Tier cosplay, or dressed as their patron troll, or as one of the kids, or anyone really.
Just because it's over, doesn't mean the fandom is gone.
I've rambled on enough, here's your story. And again, thank you.
They did it.
They beat the game.
Lord English was gone.
John Egbert, now 20 years old, reached for the ultimate prize. They were going to make their own universe with the Alpha kids, the trolls and his friends from his own session.
John smiled, remembering his adventure he had.
He remembered how when he probably started playing the game he had no idea what to do. He remembered the first conversation he ever had with Karkat. Even all the bullshit he had to do for Terezi.
Though not all of it was fun and he witnessed many deaths of himself, his friends and not everything was the best John had to say this was the best thing that ever happened to him.
Now was the time.
"Hurry up, Egbert!" Karkat said, urging John to claim the prize already.
John grabbed the door, wondering how life would change in their new world.
John smiled, and allowed the blinding white light the consume him and his friends.
-
After what felt like forever, John opened his eyes, waking up from his deep sleep.
John looked around and saw the room he was in was identical to his original bed room.
All of his posters were there, his joke props, everything.
He looked down at himself and noticed that he was wearing the original green slime shirt he wore the day his adventure started.
In fact, everything about him was like how he originally started. John Egbert was a thirteen year old boy again.
John walked over to the calendar that was hung up on his door, looking at the date. April 13 2009.
He was back where he started. Was it all a dream? Were the trolls even real?
John sighed, planning to forget that the adventure he just had was a a dream.
He went over to his computer and logged onto his pesterChum, noticing he had received a bunch of messages from his friends.
"Happy birthday John!" was the one from Jade.
"Happy bday, Egderp." Dave eloquently put.
"Happy birthday John." Rose said.
It seemed very familiar to him in a way. The thing that seemed different was a couple of messages from Roxy and Jane, and Jake and Dirk.
There was one final one he didn't recognize at all. The initials were AH. Did John know anyone named AH?
The message said:
AH: Hey John nice to meet you. My name is Andrew Hussie. Happy birthday by the way.
AH: Thanks for being a part of the best 7 years of my life.
AH: Since I took those years away from you and your friends you are 13 again. You're going to get to live like normal kids.
AH: Have a great day John! I'm so proud of you.
John, though he didn't even know what this Hussie guy was taking about, felt touched by his words. He was going to get to live life normally with his friends and family. Finally.
A young man stands in his bedroom. It just so happens that today is April 13 2009, his birthday.
What will he do?
He's going to live.
END OF ACT 7.
