Disclaimer: Prince of Tennis and its characters do not belong to me. I seriously don't know why this is required. Are people really so stupid that they'd think otherwise?

Warning: Boys Love, so don't read it if you find it offensive. There's only mild kissing though.

Author's note: I'm not really happy with how this came out. I was trying to keep Shishido and Ootori at least somewhat in character, but Shishido's a bitch and wouldn't cooperate. Also, yeah this is a Christmas fic, and yes I do realize I'm a month late, but the idea popped into my head and wouldn't go away.

Shishido cursed his luck as he sunk back down into the pew. Everyone else was out having a good time, spending Christmas with their lover, while he was stuck in Church. Not that he could have refused when Ootori had asked Shishido if he wanted to go to church with Ootori and his family. Shishido could tolerate a few hours of boredom and discomfort for something that was important to his boyfriend.

A sigh of relief escaped Shishido's lips as the preacher finished the last line of the last prayer of the service. Standing up Shishido stretched his body, grateful that he could finally move. Following the Ootori's out into the cold snowy night he pulled his jacket snuggly around his body. The Ootori's car pulled up in front of the Church and they all climbed in; glad to be escaping from the biting cold of the winter wind.

"Thanks for letting me come with you." Shishido addressed his boyfriend's parents, always careful to make a good impression around them.

"You're always welcome Shishido-Kun. But wouldn't you have rather spent Christmas Eve with some lucky girl?" Mrs. Ootori responded

Shishido scoffed, "Nah, what could be better than spending the night with Choutarou."

"Sh-shishido-Sempai." Ootori blushed at the innuendo.

Shishido winked at his boyfriend as the car started towards the Ootori's household. The remainder of the ride was spent in relative silence with occasional small talk.

Once they had reached the privacy of Ootori's bedroom Ootori turned to Shishido with an apologetic smile, "I', sorry you had to sit through Church tonight Shishido-Sempai. I know you don't really like that sort of thing."

"Don't apologize Choutarou. Church might not be my thing; but if it means I get to spend more time with you, then I can deal with it." Shishido replied, pulling Ootori to him for a kiss.

Ootori wrapped his arms around Shishido's neck; deepening the kiss. He moved one hand up to run through Shishido's hair, and smiled against the shorter boy's lips before pulling back slightly.

"What are you smiling about?" Questioned Shishido.

Ootori's smile widened, "It's easier for me to play with your hair when you don't wear your hat."

"Che, you're such a girl, Choutarou."

Ootori blushed crimson at the comment.

"But, I like you anyway."

As if to prove it, Shishido captured Ootori's lips with his own in a gentle kiss.
