My Ianto, a torchwood fanfic

A/N; . I couldn't not do a Ianto/Jack story after watching Torchwood - Children of Earth. You wouldn't believe how much I cried when.. when Ianto (my favourite character) died in Jack's arms. AND I'M SORRY IF I JUST SPOILED IT FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN IT YET. I cried, so, so, so much.. it was unbelievable. I srsly hate RTD for that. LONG LIVE JACK AND IANTO'S LOVE.

The lyrics are "My Skin" by Natalie Merchant. It's a beautiful song that makes me cry.. alot.

I always knew he'd die before me. I always knew.

But I wanted us to die together; to die as one, because we were one.. we are one.

I can still see him now, sitting beside me with that grin of his on his face;

Making smart alec comments about nothing in particular.

Just.. just being him.

Just being my Ianto.

We went through a lot together.. we shared so many memories.

Good and bad.

And those are what brought us closer.. they are what made our love so strong.

I.. I remember this one time. I'd found the doctor. And I told them, all of them.

It's so clear in my mind.

Owen's reaction of "Did he fix you?"

I mean seriously. What is there to fix about me?

Other than my heart.. which is breaking.

And then he asked that question.

"Are you going back for him?"

My dear, dear Ianto. Why would I go back for him, when I had you?

So I told you. In my own way.

"I came back for you."

I should have left it at that. Left it at that perfect moment..

And then I spoilt it. With 3 little words.

"All of you."

And so I never really told him I loved him.

I should have told him.

I never told him I loved him..

But I did.

I do.

I love him with all my heart.

I was never anyone else's.

I was always his

And even as I held him,

He was always mine...
