He was alone again. Asami and Akihito had left. He was kind of happy with the outcome. Nobody got really hurt and Akihito was back with his man. He knew he couldn't be more then a friend to the boy.

It was stupid of him to take Akihito away. He saw what it did to the boy and regrets it. He regretted it even more when he saw how Asami reacted to everything involving Akihito. He knew they were happy together and he wouldn't be the one to tear them apart again. He just wished he hadn't been so stupid to do something like this for something Asami did so many years ago.

It was time that he forgot what had happened in his past. He had learned the truth about the death of his beloved father. Finally he was able to let it go after so many years of living in fear and anger. And he felt relieved; finally he would be able to look ahead into the future instead of living in the past.

His opinion on Asami had changed greatly after he had talked a couple of times to Akihito. Now he felt that he understood the man more. He would never try to get involved with Asami's business again. Apart from that he would like to meet Akihito now and then. In the time he had spent with the boy he had come to like the boy. Although he was unsure how Asami would react to this.

Almost everyone he knew or trusted had left him. So he was indeed alone again. But then there was still his beloved Tao. The boy would follow him anywhere he went. Sometimes he thought that he didn't deserve the love of the boy.

And then there was Yoh. He hadn't known what to do when the man suddenly confessed to him. But he knew everything would work out in the end with Yoh.

Well, there were a lot of things to do before everything went back to normal again. Whatever normal was.

Also he had a new goal. He was going to work on his future and his happiness. He wanted to know how it feels to love someone who loves you back. He knew people who are happy, but he hasn't really experienced it him self. And he was ready to love someone for the first time.

Loving couldn't hurt as much as hating, right?
