"Oh god", Kate gasped, eyes wide open.
"Hm?", Castle whispered and rolled around sleepily.
"We need to go back"
"Back where?", Castle asked confused and rubbed his eyes.
Without another word, Kate stormed into the bathroom.
"Kate?", Castle called and got up from the bed to follower.
Kate was wiggling around, trying to put her jeans back on.
"We need to go, get dressed! Now!", she ordered and threw Rick's pants into his face.
"Kaaaaaaaaaate! What's going on?", he said but she was out of the bathroom again.
Castle sighed deeply and went after his fiancée.
"We need to go", she replied again, fear in her voice.
Suddenly Castle became aware of how she was acting.
Kate seemed stressed, angry and also scared.
He grabbed her wrist softly and pulled her against his chest.
"Castle, please", she whined.
"What's going on?", he whispered and brushed a thumb over her cheek.
"We need to get my mom's ring!"
"Your mom's ring? Where is it?"
"The hotel, we stayed at. I left it there, Castle.I left it there!", the panic in her voice wasn't ignorable.
It scared him.
Kate fidgeted around her seat.
"Hey", Castle said and placed a hand on her tigh.
"We will get the ring,okay?"
Kate nodded but continued to play with her wedding band.
"Finally", Kate breathed and hurried out of the car.
"Is room 47 still free?", Kate asked as Castle finally reached the reception.
"Room 47... Yes", the lady behind the reception said and handed Kate a key.
"Thank you", Kate mouthed and headed towards the elevator.
"Whoa, slow down there, cowgirl!"
"Really Castle, cowgirl?"
"You're way too fast for me!"
Kate turned around and looked at him.
"What?", he asked and lifted both hands.
Kate glanced at her watch.
"Patience, Kate", Rick whispered as the door opened.
Without listening to him, Kate ran down the hallway, opening the door in a hurry.
"Please be there, please be there, please be there", she whispered and opened the bathroom door.
A huge weight fell off her shouldes as she spotted the ring still laying beneath the bathroom sink.
"I'm so sorry mom!", Kate sighed as she picked up the ring.
Kate felt arms wrap around her from behind.
"I told you, you would get the ring back"
"Yes, thank you, Rick", Kate mumbled and leaned against his chest.
