Arielle laughed as she ran across the grass. Her white dress was stained with dirt but she didn't care. She turned to find her best friend, Finn Whitman, right behind her. She shrieked with laughter as he tackled her, tickling her side relentlessly. As she turned, she heard the camera click.

Present Day

Arielle choked on tears as she looked at the picture. It was an old one, taken when she was six. However, it still made her want to drown in her sea of everlasting tears. She wished for life to be as simple as it was then. It wasn't, though. It would never be that way again. As she placed the photo back, she heard her mother call her down for dinner. It was no use, she never came down. Not anymore.

Life wasn't always like this for Finn. He remembered days, happier when life was easier. He would watch Arie now, watch as she cried just by passing his house. Doesn't she think it's hurting me! He wanted to scream. Can't she tell that I'm breaking too! But he knew that it wasn't going to happen. He could never scream at Arielle. If only Amanda had just excepted Arie. Then this would have never had happened. He remembered the day clearly.

The sun was shining. Everywhere, people were running out of houses, and running outside. Finn laughed as Arie climbed out of her bedroom window. She was wearing a sky blue shirt that had a large black heart on it with denim jean shorts. Her long brown hair had white streaks running through it. She ran to his house. "Aye Whitman! She shouted gleefully. "Come on down, I'm having a pool party! He grinned and leaned down. "I'm coming, I'm coming sheesh!" She laughed as he walked towards the closet. "Ya know I can still see you, right?" Finn groaned and shut the blinds. When he finally came down, the party was in full swing. Arie was taking selfies with her friends using her new selfie stick. She smiled when she saw him, setting down her soda and running, accidentally pushing him into the water. When he resurfaced, he laughed before hearing a familiar sound. Cliffy! Tell me what you think !
