A/N: A prompt fill for Bananaslugger20 on tumblr, a little something for Ritsu's B day
P.s. I have no idea how old Ritsu would be now, but the title fit so there.
Ritsu stared with wide eyes at the cake in front of him, bigger than his head and perfectly iced with his name in blue icing lacing the top. Candles were stuck in the top as well, but they were nothing more than obstacles to the impending rush of sugar that awaited him. The table full of chocolate and twizzlers and gummy animals ensured that much.
"We know you love sweets, I figure one day can't hurt too much to indulge, right?" Ritsu's father, Hisao, smiles at the look on Ritsu's face, winking conspiratorially. "Just don't tell your mother and hide the evidence."
Ritsu nodded, a little dumbfounded and awestruck, unable to peel his eyes from the spread before him. His mother was out of town on a business trip, his brother was at work with Reigen, this... This was all for him. He took a fork, hearing the angels singing as he sat down in front of the cake and took the biggest bite he could get without it falling off his fork.

"Hey, Shige!" Mob answered the phone call as he and Reigen walked back to the office after a job, smiling slightly at getting an unexpected call from his father.
"Hello, Dad. I'll be home soon, we just got the last house call of the day."
"Oh, ok, good good. Um... If you would do me a favor and just kind of... Hurry... Yes, that would be great."
Mob pulled the phone away from his ear to stare at it, as if it could somehow give him answers to why his father was being so vague and weird. "Everything ok?"
"Yeah? Yes, yeah, everything's fine. Your brother just... Uh... You'll see."
With a short goodbye, Mob hung up the phone. "Shishou, I have to go."

Mob and Hisao stood in the living room, necks craning upward to watch the scene playing out on the ceiling.
"Are those footprints on the walls?" Mob asked.
"Yup."
"How long has he been up there?" Mob asked, eyes trailing to watch Ritsu float across the ceiling, talking a mile a minute about some schemes the awakening lab kids had gotten into.
Hisao glanced at his watch, "About 20 minutes or so. Since he finished the cake. I honestly didn't think he'd get through it all, he doesn't eat that much during dinner."
Mob shrugged, "It's cake." He popped a gummy bear into his mouth, abandoned at the table with the remnants of the other desserts scattered across the surface. "Should we get him down?"
Hisao sucked in a breath through his teeth and let it out in a raspberry, "I don't know, he seems ok for now. I was just worried if he got too close to the windows. I can't catch him like you can if he floats out." He places a hand on his sons head, ruffling the bowl cut affectionately. "Do me a favor and watch him for a bit? I gotta clean up the kitchen before your mother gets home."
Mob nodded, settling on the couch to listen to his brothers ramblings and make sure he didn't float off into the atmosphere.
"And don't eat too many of those gummy bears! I don't need both of you on a sugar rush!"
Mob pouted, putting the gummy bears to the side... For now.
