PROLOGUE
Hotaru Kurosaki, an 18 year old shinagami, adopted sister of Ichigo Kurosaki, and staying in the world of the living. It was a tough time, having to stay in a place where hollows were constantly attacking. But it wasn't as bad as it could have been. She could have been in the Soul Society, gearing up for a war against an ex-Captain and his army of arrancars. Hotaru considered herself lucky to only be a patrol shinagami. But oh, how ignorantly naïve she was to think that she wouldn't be a part of the war, or that she would fall in love with one of the enemies, gain a new best friend, and all her dark secrets would be revealed.
Ayumi Kusanagi, an 18 year old shinagami, the second child prodigy to enter the Seireitei, after Captian Hitsugaya that is. She serves under Captian Byakuya of division six, and is placed as fourth chair. She's known as the sober one in the group of drunkards consisting of Rangiku, Renji, Ikkaku, and Yumichikka. All were happy before the war with Aizen started, having fun and living normal shinagami lives. Ayumi herself is hit with reality when the war is in sight. But little did she know that during this war, she will fall in love, gain a new best friend, and that she will discover something about herself and her past that shocks almost everyone.
Follow Hotaru and Ayumi on their adventure together as they fight, fall in love, and discover painful things about the past.
