Sue had always imagined that Reverend Tim Tom would officiate the ceremony. Every member of the wedding party guys included would wear pink. Not faded pink but bright neon pink. Her dad who didn't seem to understand how emotions worked would have to stop their father daughter dance moments in because he'd be blind from the tears. Sue had every little detail planned on how she wanted the best day of her life to go. This wasn't apart of the plan.

"Hi." He says quietly blinking the sleep away. She smiles.

"Morning." Sue leans down and kisses the side of his mouth.

"Been awake long?' She nods sinking back down on the pillow facing him 'Everything okay?"

"Yeah just thinking about…"

"This?"

"A bit."

"You're not upse…"

"No. Of course not Darrin. I've never been more happy." This kiss is directed straight at his lips.

"Good. I was afraid once morning came you'd realize what we did and regret it."

"Never. I love you."

"I love you too Sue. God more than you'll ever know. Just that I know you." He pauses and gives her a look.

"Yeah and so?"

"Sue you've probably had your wedding day and reception planned since you were eight!"

"Maybe."

"And eloping in Las Vegas wasn't apart of it." Sue sighs.

"No of course it wasn't."

"I robbed you from that."

"Darrin. No you didn't. I agreed to marry you last night. I knew what I was doing. I wanted to do."

"Still…"

"Stop it. I love you."

"Will you still love me when you're dad and Axl beat the crap out of me?" Sue laughs. He only gives a weak smile.

"Oh calm down honey it'll be fine."

"Are you sure? I've never been your parents favorite person and Axl and I never batched things up."

"They might be upset at first but I don't care and neither should you."

"Easy for you to say! You've not gonna get your ribs kicked in."

"Well if they hurt you I'll…" Her smile fades. She hadn't considered any of this.

"Sue if we want we can not tell them."

"What? Are you regretting this?!"

"God no! I meant instead of being like surprised we've married before they have barely adjusted to the idea we've dating again and…"

"And that way they can adjust to us being a couple and fall in love with you!"

"I'll be happy enough with feeling eighty percent confident I won't have my front teeth knocked out."

"But you should know I'm horrible with secrets."

"I know."

"So this will likely fail."

"I know and that's okay. I have you nothing else matters."

"Good."

"But are you sure you don't regret this?"

"Is this how I imagined getting married? No of course not. This was ten times. No! A hundred times better!"

"I promise you we'll have re-do. Or maybe renewal our vows on our anniversary."

"Well I am curious to see you in a pink suit."

"Good. Wait what?!" Sue laughs again and leans in for another kiss.
