He managed to get hold of her before she gets flattened by a falling pillar, leaping out into safety as the once strong and vertical structure get reduced into several, smaller pieces. Her arms were locked into his, feeling the warmth of his skin against the cold evening air. His red hair being reflected like blazing fire under the moon's light. Her hazel eyes fixated against his. Time seems to have stopped for a second when their eyes met in one point. There was nobody else in their world at that moment, only them…
"Abarai…Renji…"
She placed his hand against his cheek and gave his savior a sweet smile, wordlessly thanking him for what he had just done.
'Abarai…Renji? I'll remember that…'

This had to be my first anime fic and my first attempt to do a cross-over fic. The idea came out when I was listening to UVERworld's SHINE so I guess it'll be this fic's main theme song. I just hope you guys enjoy reading and comments are very much welcomed!
