She was looking at the guy who was in front of her with a mix of anger and impotence. It wasn't the first time that he was saying this to her and it wasn't the first time in which that answer had come out of her lips.

That young man was at the verge of crying and, to be sincere with herself, she didn't like to see people cry. Actually, she didn't like the idea of suffering. It was enough pain in her life the one that she felt back when she was only a child.

She knew that he was sincere, that he was saying the truth that was coming from the bottom of his heart. More than once he found her guard down and she, Kyouyama Anna, couldn't help to be kissed by him. In fact, the guy was very tender. It didn't matter the past because now everything had been solved out and the whole Asakura family lived in peace… let's just say that those ghosts didn't hunt anyone anymore.

And then he told her he loved her.

But she told him she couldn't love him back, although the situation.

And this happened over and over again… until this moment.

He confessed to her once more. He was begging her to love him as he did. That he would give his life for her to love him as he loved her.

But she couldn't. She couldn't love him. Without planning it she fell for his twin brother, beyond every speculation. Her heart belonged to his twin from a time now… and nobody thought this would happen. Actually, everybody thought it was going to turn the other way around, because…

"Please", begged him. "You know that no one can love you like I love you".

"I know…" she answered. In fact, she doubted that her beloved one was as passionate as his brother. "But… I love your brother in the same way you love me".

Asakura looked at the floor, trying to keep the tears back, so his deep pain couldn't be reflected. He tightened his fists as a gesture of impotence as he realised that that beautiful, special blonde would never be his… and that she had never been.

"So that means…", he looked at her again, "that you are happy with him".

"I can be nothing but happy with him. I'm sorry… I… I didn't plan it".

"Neither did I", admitted him with a sad smile. "But if you truly love him I have nothing to do in between. What I wish the most is your happiness, Anna-chan".

"I…", now Anna felt like an asshole. She was responsible of that pain, her best fiend's pain… The pain of the person that was the brother of the man she loved the most. "I'm truly sorry".

"Don't worry… That's just life", he answered with another sad smile.

Anna noticed how his look went down to her lips, staring at them.

"Don't ever call me 'Anna-chan' again, OK?"

And without believing what she was going to do, she leaned closer to him, took his face with her hands, and kissed him. It was a short kiss, but Anna tried to make him understand that, although it was as a friend, she still loved him.

They broke apart and stared at each other.

"What are you waiting for?", he said. "Go with him…"

Anna smiled, turned around and ran away to find the man she loved the most in this world.

The twin stood there, alone. He took a hand to his lips, where Anna had settled hers, and smiled.

"That's enough…", he told for himself. "That's more than enough".

And Asakura Hao headed to his room with a huge smile on his face, knowing that his beloved Anna would be the happiest woman in the world when, tomorrow, she had married with his twin brother, Asakura Yoh.
