Written for the kissing in the rain challenge on HPFC.

A/N: Just to let anyone who reads my fics know, there won't be any updates for the next month or so due to NaNoWriMo, anyone else participating? Anyway, enjoy this short drabble and let me know what you think!

A million emotions

Rain began to pour down making the swooping figures in the greying sky seem like barely visible shadows. A burley Scottish voice shouted attempting to override the rumbling thunder instructing his team to seek shelter, leaving two lone figures suspended in the thrashing wind and rain.

"Alright there George?" The Scottish man inquired battling to stay steady upon his broom.

"Yeah, although that last bludger didn't seem to appreciate my devious good looks." George replied, chuckling slightly.

"Let me see, I might be able to fix whatever damage caused so you won't have to worry about any permanent disfiguration to your oh so pretty face!" Oliver replied, a slight smile gracing his lips. George moved closer as Oliver peered deeply into his dazzling eyes. At that moment, nothing else seemed to matter; it was just the two of them, high in the skies, surrounded only by the never ending rain water.

Their eyes simultaneously flickered shut as they leaned towards each other. Oliver's hand moved to caress George's cheek as their lips touched. It only lasted a mere second and yet that single soft delicate kiss conveyed a million emotions. As they drew apart and their eyes once again opened they knew it would go no further, it simply couldn't, Oliver would be leaving in a couple of months and George would retain his bad boy bachelor reputation, and yet, they both knew that neither would forget that tender moment. The rain would always signify what could have been.

A simple kiss in the rain, etched forever within their minds, and more importantly, their hearts.
