I was playing a video game called Grandia 2 when this idea hit me. This is written to the background music played while in the Raul Hills and Great Rift levels. In those dungeons, the chorus, verse and bridge tunes loop indefinitely, so that's why I came up with this format. Originally, I only had written one verse, but my mom liked it so much when I showed it to her and she told me to lengthen it. It was at that time that I thought about using Slayers -- as I can't really write many fics yet since I've only seen a few episodes and know most of my info from online. When I do know more, I have several ideas (I want to get the people as IC as possible).
