A low rumble that sounded almost like laughter in a twisted sort of way followed her down the hallways as she ran desperate to reach the outside where she knew He could not follow. She turned right sharply and headed down the hallway towards the exit shouldering the door open only to find it would not budge "no no come don't do this to me not now" she turned to see his shadowy outline at the end of the hall just standing there staring at her. Without a second thought she headed towards the stairs to her left and jumped the stairs two at a time. He was playing with her and she knew it, if he had wanted to catch he would have the moment he saw her no he wanted the chase he wanted to Hunt. She was slowing down soon there would be no more running, no hiding, she would be face to face with the boy she love and the monster that had taken him from her. She was heading down the science hallway when an idea hit her, the home ec. Classes were cooking Italian food this week if she could get into one of the cooking labs maybe she could find some garlic to buy her some time till she could get outside and home for the night.
