A/N. So, guys my laptop has broken and I keep having the urge to write but I can't write any of my other stories until my laptop comes back. *sigh* I know. So, I've decided to do this. I'm not sure if it's a story or just one shot yet, but oh well. Here ya go guys. The song is: Just give me a reason By Pink and Nate Rues, I've made it out that in this story Rachel and Puck sing it, as their own song. I don't own the song. I LOVE IT THOUGH HEHE

DISCLAIMER: I don't own glee, any of the songs either. Hope you enjoy. X

Chapter 1

Rachel's POV

It had been years since she'd last seen Noah Puckerman, she'd do anything to not see him. All the past memories would come flooding back and he would ask her why, if he would remember her that is.But, here I was making my own album after being on so many musicals on Broadway I had decided that I wanted to make an album of music that is best well known for me and so I could spend more time to my son, Riley. My manager, Sheila thought it would be a good idea if I did a duet with Noah Puckerman. At first, I hesitated but she'd claim it was a good move for my career as he was famous, well known and it'd get me pretty much a lot of fans. So, here I was.

"I don't know why you're so nervous. Broadway is more nervous like than this, but you never used to get nervous over that." Sheila said sighing.

She didn't know about Noah. No one rarely knew, Santana, Kurt and My Dad's were the only ones that knew if I was being perfectly honest. Meeting Noah again, doesn't mean I'd have to tell him. It's just a brief song we have to do, maybe go on a tour and that's pretty much it. We won't be communicating.

"Well, this is new for me Sheila; you've got to understand it."

"The only thing I understand is that whenever something's new, you don't get nervous." Sheila replied before she quickly stood up as Noah Puckerman and his manager entered the studio.

I swallowed, standing up too as I shook his hand, "Rachel Berry."

Noah quirked his eyebrows,"Hmm... I'm sure I know that name from somewhere."

"Well, I certainly d-don't remember you." I lied. I didn't want him to remember.

"Oh, I must be wrong anyway. Doesn't matter, Anyway, I'm Noah. Everyone calls me Puck though, just trying to make conversation so it isn't awkward when we sing this sort of love song." Noah laughed.

I laughed with him too, trying to find it funny but not getting anywhere as I was too nervous.

"So, my manager told me that you used to do Broadway but decided to do something different," Noah said referring to music, "Excellent choice of picking music. I love it and I'm sure you do if you've done musicals. I can't wait to sing with you."

"Right, guys are we ready to practise this song then?!" John, Puck's Manager shouted from the opposite side of him.

We both nodded before waiting for the music.

Rachel. Noah, Both

Right from the start
You were a thief
You stole my heart
And I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty
And with every touch you fixed them
Now you've been talking in your sleep oh oh
Things you never say to me oh oh
Tell me that you've had enough
Of our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

I'm sorry I don't understand
Where all of this is coming from
I thought that we were fine
(
Oh we had everything)
Your head is running wild again
My dear we still have everythin'
And it's all in your mind
(
Yeah but this is happenin')
You've been havin' real bad dreams oh oh

You used to lie so close to me oh oh
There's nothing more than empty sheets
Between our love, our love
Oh our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent

And we can learn to love again
I'll never stop
You're still written in the scars on my heart
You're not broken just bent

And we can learn to love again

Oh tear ducts and rust
I'll fix it for us
We're collecting dust
But our love's enough
You're holding it in
You're pouring a drink
No nothing is as bad as it seems
We'll come clean

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh oh, that we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

After we had finished singing at our first go, I couldn't stop staring at him and neither could he with me as it looked like. I hoped he wasn't trying to remember me. As Santana would say, my voice is what people remember me the most as it's hard to forget.

"Well done guys! Very good, you can go for a break now and we'll get right back on it see if we can do it even better than that!"

I grinned before grabbing my phone from my bag and headed towards the door.

"Wow, that was amazing. Your voice reminded me of someone I yet again I can't remember who. It's like I've erased the person from my memory." Noah laughed, "I must have just heard you on the radio or in a musical, if I've ever been to one..."

"Yeah, most probably." I replied thanking god that he didn't remember who I am.

"Anyway, I'm pretty sure you were about to text or call your friend or family, so I'll leave you to it," Noah smiled before leaving the studio room.

I got my phone out before finding Santana's number and calling her.

Santana's POV

I was making food for Rachel's 7 year old son, he was playing games on his Xbox and I'm pretty sure he'd be starting to get hungry soon so I'd started making him some lasagne and he wasn't a vegetarian like his Mother. In fact, if I was being perfectly honest, he was more like his father. He was moody, liked to do everything his way and he had the same attitude as Noah had when he was young. I just wished that Rachel would have told Noah when she could have. I mean, I kind of get why she didn't tell him but I always thought that she'd tell him sometime in the future but it's been 7 years and she hasn't and I just don't see it happen any time in the future.

Just at that moment, my phone started to bleep. I picked it up, answered the phone seeing it was from Rachel,"Hey B, how are you doing?"

"It's him. It's Noah. It's actually him, San. What on earth am I going to do for the past few months I have to work with him?"

"Wow. That's huge. Suck it up, Berry you have so many times before when you had to work with Jesse. It'll all be okay, hey maybe then you can actually tell him about his son that he never knew of, how about that?" I replied half jokingly, half serious.

"Santana..."

"What? I'm being serious. You need to get a grip, woman."

"Santana, he doesn't exactly remember me. Which is a good thing, I think." Rachel replied.

"Oh right, How the fuck doesn't he know about you? He fucking loved you, adored the fuck out of you and he doesn't remember you? Not even your voice. Woman, what the fuck have you done?!" I said because I truthfully was shocked.

"Santana, language," Rachel said before she continued, "I don't know, surely it couldn't have been that bad. He would still remember me though right? He wouldn't ever forget me...right San?" Rachel's voice went low as if she couldn't stand the thought of Noah forgetting about her but I didn't even know if that was possible.

"Of course he wouldn't babe. Why would you ever think of that? He loved you too much no matter what happened between you, he wouldn't just forget you like that. That isn't the Puck we know. Don't worry, Rachel, everything will be fine." I replied

"Thanks San, It kind of made me feel a bit better I guess despite the rude comments. I hope Riley didn't hear you." Rachel said.

"He's in his room, on his Xbox. He's fine, Rach. I was making his tea until someone interrupted me."

"Alright, San, I better get going anyway. I'll talk to you later." Rachel said before she hung up the phone.

"Okay, B. Talks to you later" I replied before hanging up the phone.

I sighed, I didn't get it all either. Noah Puckerman forgetting Rachel Berry, it seems impossible. It didn't seem real... She remembered when he would confide in her about practically everything. They had been close, they used to be sex buddies for god's sake until I met Brittany and he met Rachel. Brittany. I wonder where she ended up...

I stared in to space, thinking of the time Puck asked me for advice on Rachel...

*FLASHBACK... FLASHBACK...FLASHBACK*

I was heading towards cheerio practise before someone dragged me and pushed me into an empty classroom. I turned around to see Puck standing there.

"What the hell Puck? We both know this isn't going to happen due to me and Brittany and you and Rach, I won't do that to her-"

"Chills your knickers Satan, I'm here for advice not a fuck. I'm fine, thank you." Puck rolled his eyes before sitting down at the edge of the desk.

"So, what do you need advice on? You've never asked me for advice before." I replied confused.

"Well, you're the only one that I can ask. And I trust you." Puck shrugged.

"That's kind of cute, but still before you ditch on telling me, spill"

"I'm thinking of taking Rachel out on a date. I've never really done this kind of thing before, and I know we've been going out for like 5 months now but I feel as if Rachel's the type of girl to take out on a date but it has to be perfect something she will love. I know it can't be completely your idea, but I just need some hints."

"Well, I certainly know there's a new musical out and she's really wanted to go to the theatre to see it. Just a hint, I'm pretty sure you know what she'll love for the rest of the date. Wow, Puck I'm actually shocked with you."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You've never acted like this before, not with me or neither with Quinn"

"The difference is, she's not like you nor Quinn. No offence. She's different and she's not just a one night stand to me, I love her. And I'm not letting go of her. Ever, no matter what, She'll always be mine" Puck replied

I smiled, "Well, she adores you. I'm really happy for you, Puck"

"Thanks San, same goes to you and Britt."

*end of flashback*

"Aunty San, are you okay? You're crying and I've never seen you cry before." I looked down towards Riley finally back to real life from the flashback.

I wiped some of my tears, slowly laughing to myself before saying,"Oh I'm fine Riley. What did you want? Sorry, I didn't hear a word you said."

"I just wanted to know what we were having for tea and when will Mummy be back? I can't remember what she said." Riley said smiling up at me, sometimes Riley's attitude isn't as bad as Puck's... it can be like Rachel's sometimes but sometimes it can be Puck's. You would tell the difference.

"We're having lasagne. It's in the oven, and Mummy will be back in about 2 hours. I promise." I smiled at him before deciding to continue, "Now, let's see if Aunty Tana can beat you on the WII."

"No way! 'Tana, we've tried this before and we know how it ended! Me, Riley always win" Riley giggled

I took his hand as he led me to the living room where the WII was placed, "We'll see." I smiled, Sometimes I wished Puckerman was here. I really did miss him.

Rachel's POV

I took a deep breath after finishing the call from Santana.

"So, Rach... I know that we're going to be working together a lot, and my manager says we may even have to tour abit together... depending if the song is a big hit," Noah said (I'd like to refer to him as Noah even though he didn't remember me.)

"Okay, I'm sure I've already been told this..." I said kind of confused.

"I know, I mean... I was just going to ask you if you wanted to go out for coffee after this. To get to know each other I mean... Only if you'd like?" Puck asked me with raised eyebrows.

"Oh...O-Of course. I don't see why not, I just have to let Santana know."

"Santana?" Puck looked puzzled.

"Yeah, my best friend, Got to let her know as she is the one looking after my son, Riley." I grinned not even realising the facial expression Puck was showing, until it was too late.

"What's with the expression? You look like you've just seen a ghost." I joked.

"Oh, nothing. So, let's get back to practising until coffee." Puck said smiling

"Yup"

I didn't know if this was a good thing or if it was supposed to be a bad thing but right now, I couldn't say no to him. Even if he didn't remember me somehow. I remember him and that's all there is to it.
